I don't use this to replace a fungo for ground ball work but it's excellent for pop flies and precision work. It also allows you to send pop flies to outfielders without needing the usual distance to achieve those flies. In other words, you can work your outfielders in a smaller space with the same effect.\n\nExcellent supplemental tool.
