In only a few outings my shoulder strap is separating (tearing). What really made me hate this pack was how the sternum strap attaches . Glad to have found it.","text":"I have used numerous backpacks over my 35 years of hunting from many different manufacturers. I ordered this one in coyote brown after wearing out yet another and have been beyond pleased with the features and the durability. I am very hard on my gear and I use it relentlessly. This pack is quiet and well laid out from an organizational stand point. I know where everything is without looking. The side pockets will hold a 32 ounce Nalgene bottle and a full size tripod with the side strap holding the top. It does have a hydration bladder pocket but I just prefer my water bottle. I am a big guy with a 38-40 waist and the waist belt fits even when I am layered. I use this pack from August to December and reorganize it for the hunt I am on as well as the temps I am hunting in. There is also plenty of room for snacks. I am in Montana and use this from whitetails in the river bottoms to antelope and mule deer in the sage flats and deep nasty river breaks. I also utilize this pack for air travel on occasion as well.
