She absolutely loves it and says it’s her favorite out of her collection! Benchmade crafted an elegant modern twist on an old classic. Upon unboxing, I honestly wanted to keep it for myself. Opens slow. Really just disappointed in this knife. And out of the 17 I own. That’s never happened. I don’t want it. Can it be returned? Please reach out. A best seller auto should be gripping to own. It came in the mail and I put it away as soon as I realized my purple haze mini barrage was twice as fast and ACTUALLY SHARP. Idk but benchmades don’t rip paper . I’m really disappointed. I feel I was sent a lemon. I hear there’s like 4 main stream knife swellings making American knives with the same materials and actually innovating down the streets. I know this won’t get me 500. But it’s a review and should qualify. But the this was poorly labeled and communicated from the start. Sorry to be long winded but if someone spends 500 dollars on a knife. It better be immaculate. This had visible burs and again rips paper at every edge point of the blade. OK…again…. . elegant design, great feel to hand, light, smooth, and the black blade is razor sharp…trim your arm hairs off effortlessly. Easily #1 in my small collection. \n\nDownside…. the blade return feels rough and locks up occasionally…. as if a shoulder needed smoothing. Totally worth it though…. every automatic I’ve ever owned needed a bit of love…this one too. But to hand, still one of my favorites. \n\nNever returned a knife to Benchmade…. I have several. But I’m sure they’d keep their word to try and “fix” it. But an elegant auto in hand is worth two in the mail…. so opening, closing another 1K times usually flattens out any issues…. maybe rounds off an edge. Like riding a bicycle…. make it yours…that’s half the fun.\n\nAnd then there are exploded diagrams for the truly adventurous.
