I have had this knife for 10 years and I am the first to write a review? I'm only here at this web location because I was about to order a second one.\nThis has been a terrific knife. Quick to pull, quick to open. Perfect heft and balance. Able to maintain solid grip in all conditions. The hilt serrations come into play at a good location. The spring has failed twice five years apart, and each time I have been in the boonies of Alaska and was able to temper the end and repair it myself. I would have most certainly purchased another Benchmade model. This thing is incredible from handle comfort, ease of use, it opens quickly and smoothly. The quality of the materials is top notch, the execution of manufacturing a high quality product and the craftsmanship is A-1. I used that knife for everything, and sadly lost it along with almost all of my mementos to a messy divorce. I've tried to fill the void with various brands, and models of Benchmade knives. My claymore lost some screws and needed service, so I filed for a warranty service and needed another auto in the mean time. My wife knew I missed my original AFO and bought this for me. A few changes and maybe updates to it otherwise it's exactly like the one issued to me.
