Only turns on siometimes
This worked great for the first 2 years that I used it. Now it only turns on when it feels like it. You press the button but nothing happens most of the time. It was my favorite lamp inside my tent, but now I can no longer use it.

what does flashing light mean?
I have an orbit lantern that does not have a flashlight on the bottom. It looks like the orbit lantern on your site but without the flashlight. When I turn it on, it will not light. Rather, if you keep your finger on the "on" button, there is a flashing light only. What does this mean? Click, once, twice, three times, nothing happens.

Solid tent lantern
I like bringing this when I'm camping alone or in my own tent. It works well and the bonus of working as a flashlight is good when you don't have your headlamp handy.

Don't depend on it for light
This lantern, while a good idea, is terribly executed. It is completely unreliable for backcountry use as it often will not turn on. I have treated it gently and install new batteries when heading out, but it only works half the time. Don't depend on it for light. Completely unreliable.

Not quite as good as the original
It's not as bright, and moving the led to the bottom instead of the top seems to douse it further. Still a good little lantern, just not quite as good as before.
