The award-winning 110 Auto is back and better than ever with the upgraded 110 Auto Elite. The Elite’s clip point blade engages with the push of a button and features an upgraded steel S30V. The blade is finished with Buck’s advanced Edge2x blade technology for unbelievable sharpness and retention out of the box. This handle bypasses the classic 110 look with black G10 and nickel silver bolsters.
Comes with a genuine, black leather sheath that is designed to prevent deployment when removing the knife.
Made in the USA.
It's a sturdy knife, sharp and well made. I bought the knife for its auto feature. Sometimes the automatic fails to open fully. I tried oiling the mechanism and it still fails. I will keep the knife but, I won't purchase another one.
Very nice. Classic with a twist and cant go wrong with the price. Only thing that bothers me a little bit is that there is some side to side blade play when opened, but im assuming that's just because of the automatic feature itself, and considering bucks warrenty I'm not too worried about it in the long run..
I bought this at a local sports store. The first one had a chip in the tip of the blade. Took back for a second one. The second blade has a warp and there is a space gap in the spine. Both knives had side to side blade play. Horrible factory quality control. However, the action is snappy, it has a great feel with great steel, and is a pleasure to hold and operate. If Buck could just get the quality down this would be a definite 5 star.
My first purchase at Scheels and the service was the best! Several issues came up with my billing and they were taken care of with an email. This knife is a piece of art and a very capable hunting knife. Works smoothly and razor sharp out of the box. I’m 66 years old living in the Maine woods and can honestly say this is the best knife I have ever owned, period. If I ever had to choose just one knife to live with, this would easily be it.
Love the knife , great tool same buck quality u would expect, new steel is xtra sharp & retains a great edge. Textured grip is superb. If i had only one knife this would be the one. Worth the money for sure.
3 generations same design except automatic and steel choice . It just works. Very impressed .
I was in the service in Germany in the middle 70s and carried the 110 . Over the years I have purchased others also I butchered for twelve years as a profession. I have to admit this 110 is the best one yet that I have owned . I have several autos but this was the knife I have always had . So, the others stay in the case and this one stays on the hip.
Sent me a used knife that was returned from someone else pretty dissatisfied not sure if I will order from scheels again. The knife was loose in the box with no wrapping around it like new knives that come from buck.
I love buck knives , the buck 110 elite is nice and of high quality but not as impressive as i had anticipated , snap is slow and weak , scheels has the best deal on this knife, i'm happy with the look and quality just not that thrilled about the mechanics !
Love the feel and the weight. The action was good and smooth then it started to stick . A little silicone and so far so good. Nothing against the sheath but I got a horizontal sheath and it works great, so I bought another one.
yes not from bad made knife but if it walks off with it
i grew up with a buck 110 in the 70s it was great for fishing and hunting and just having a good knife on your belt i just bought a new buck 110 and it brought back some great memories i had with my old buck 110 the new buck 110 is just as great as my old buck 110 but the leather pouch was made in mexico but still made well its nice to see buck still makes a great buck 110 but boy the price has gone up :) but still worth the cash if your looking for a well made knlfe thanks buck knifes great job i did just perchested the buck 110 auto it is a great knife too the price is high but the knife will last for years as the buck 110 none auto so money well spent.
Purchased this knife for myself to carry. As with all Buck products, it arrived in flawless condition. Extremely well build, the grip is well designed and feels secure in the hand. The "auto action" is smooth and without any play in the blade. I will always carry a Buck knife in some way, shape or form.
This is a great knife, sharp as heck right out of the box. Press a button and the blade is ready to engage in any project you are working on. I've had a Buck knife attached to my hip ever since returning from Vietnam and you just can't go wrong with a Buck knife. The auto is a prefect gift to yourself.
Great thing that it is sharp and it is able to cut. Bad thing - it stopped opening. When I pay over $100 for a knife, I expect a lot, but got a little. Pssst... Buck used to do better. Nowadays it is probably made in China. Hey Buck guys! Shame on ya! I wouldn't recommend it even to my enemies!
This is one great knife! Fit and finish are absolutely perfect! Smooth as glass operation. Only negative worth commenting on, and it doesn’t have anything to do with the knife, is the sheath. It rides too high and is uncomfortable.
This is what I remember growing up, I am 68 and used to think about what a great knife felt like. It has some weight, opens fast one handed. (not as a kid)Great new blade, awsome look, priced fair and comfortable in the hand...What else can I say but buy one !
Have had many buck knives . Deer and hog hunting. Make great gifts, will last many life times so will be handed down to great great grand children easy. Was drop line fishing on a snake infested river here in Texas and lost my buck folder in about 5 foot of running not so clear water. Told my buddy I was going in for it so striped down and jumped in and thank God I found it. I was so happy. Buy Buck, Thanks, Jacknife
I still have a 110 my dad got me in the 70s. A few years ago I bought the 50th anniversary 110. And now I have bought the 110 auto. Simply said (awesome)
EDC, I really wanted a non tactical looking tool. This is traditional looking with tactical speed of deployment. A large sharp very well made knife. Out of the box perfection.
I have collected a few unusual Buck knives over the years but this 110 auto elite takes the prize. Perfectly built, action is SMOOTH! I like it even over a custom 110, from the factory, that is also nickel silver with elk scaled and a Buck factory Damascus blade. Was always skeptical of using that Buck but I will wear and use this auto elite that is a legal carry knife in the state of Colorado.
Buck is one of the few companies that stands behind their product. Have owned a standard 110 for 40 years now and have sent it back once for repair. You did what you say you will do, repaired it and got it back to me in quick order. Thank You for that ! As far as I'm concerned, Buck Knives are top of the line, and the saying "you get what you pay for" applies with Buck Knives.... Top Quality ...
bought a cool sideways hip holster for it and carry it every day. greatest knife ever. the action is smooth fast and well centered. just make sure to keep it clean and don't be afraid to oil it or you won't get the performance you expect.
I will use this product for edc. Many years from now I will pass knife down to my kids. Knife was all I had hoped for and more. Great price as well! Thank You Buck!
I bought both variants of the 110 Auto; love them both
I collect high end auto knives and have long awaited Buck to join the herd; so very glad they have! I needed a hearty, FUNCTIONAL, RELIABLE, TOUGH, knife that I can actually use that does not break my wallet and is backed by a credible company with an equally credible warranty. My first knife at 9 years old was a 110 Buck and i still have it at 52; now with severe arthritis I can carry my Buck again.
