Smallest of the BuckLite Max II family, this skinning knife is made for details. Its full tang, ergonomic handle is constructed out of Dynaflex® rubber for superior grip, performance, and light weight. The drop point blade has been tumbled finished, for a less porous, improved corrosion resistance. Buck’s advanced Edge2x blade technology has been applied to the blade resulting in insane sharpness out of the box.
Comes with a heavy-duty, black polyester sheath.
I bought two , believe me are not they work good for skinning squirrels & rabbits & for EDC & all other choirs that you might need to use it for thanks Buck , it fits good in my cargo shorts or my long pants cargo , win I don't have pants on that don't have a belt, I don't care for a lock blade or slip joints knife , I cut something I like a full tang fix blade Buck knife , just like Browning xBolts Rifles THE BEST THEIR IS , skinning deer & hogs I use my 119 special & 105 by Buck , my guthook & saw is one peace works really good made by Browning.
I have carried this little guy for years. It fits perfect in the leg pocket of my overalls. It is small enough that I can use it quickly and safely without the danger of an oversized blade in the wrong situations. Whether I am getting on and off the tractor, fishing, or hopping in and out of the truck this knife stays in the pocket or hanging from my belt until I reach for it. Then it slides back in just as easy. The rubber handle is not very sexy, but it keeps the knife where I set it down, no sliding away. I appreciate that these old hands can keep grip on it in wet, cold, or greasy conditions and it doesn't scuff paint, gelcoat, or woodwork. A daily wash at the kitchen sink at the end of the day followed by a quick sharpen and it is ready for another day.
I bought this little knife for edc on my belt during the hot season so I'll have more pocket room and easier access to them while on the job and for outdoor interests. I love the tumbled 420hc, it has character and the new grip material is nearly perfect, not too grippy to be sticky yet not slick at all, even when wet. For less than $30 out the door at my local Cabelas I can't find one negative thing to say about it. It came extremely sharp and the little stealth makes it safe and easily accessible.
