You can tighten the velcro tight enough that it does not move around. I love how it opens away from the rifle so you can get the brass out. I use it for coyote hunting off a tripod.\r\n\r\nHere's the problem...\r\n\r\nThe weld that holds the frame to the hinge is not good enough. Mine snapped with very little use. The two tiny welds are the size of pencil leads. I would say that would be fine if it didn't spring open the way it does. If caldwell can fix that you will have the oppurtunity to have a perfect little brass catcher for the AR10. It fits perfect for that. I use thermal so a normal brass catcher will not work. This one works great with the one little flaw.
