These guns are plagued with failure to feed and failure to eject issues from the factory. Thankfully there are a ton of forums on how to remedy these issues. In the case of my Rival S I had to replace the extractor spring and firing pin spring with different strength springs. I did not have to change out the recoil spring as others on the forums suggest. Now that it is functioning properly I’ve been able to really enjoy the gun. The trigger is the best of any striker fired handgun I’ve shot. Pair that with the weight of the all steel gun and you’ve got one heck of a nice shooting firearm. The factory sights are also great. I enjoy all of the goodies that come with the gun, too. I would definitely buy this gun again and highly recommend it. Don’t let the small amount of work these take scare you off.
