Carhartt Tradesman Dog Leash

I have the collar and a leash, and they look great. But the lease starting to fall apart midway at the seams

Frankie (my pup) loves it! It gives him a little more freedom on our daily walks. The clasp is quick and easy when its time to let him off leash! Its a winner!

Much stronger latches than expected from the pictures and the extra hook is very helpful. Great look as well.

I love the extra clip and sliding metal clip that allow me to quickly secure my dog to my leg, a tree or pole. The leash is extremely strong and well made and best of all is attractive!

I have a 70Lb shepherd lab mix who has the carhartt collar. I use a harness for walks since she's still learning. When she pulls with this leash on, it unlocks at the end and wants to open. Ive taken her on four walks with it. The $30 is pricey but also too lazy to take it back to the store. I would suggest possibly going with a different leash for heavier dogs.

Bought the orange color one!! Love the color! The reflective is in the leash awesome great idea!! Has a quick clip to tie up if you need to run in house or around your abs!! Get it buy it talk to me later!! Enjoy

I absolutely love this leash. I have a dog who needs extra security (he has run away before) so we clip one end of leash the back of his harness and other side of leash clips to the front of harness. It’s amazing and is wonderful for our dog who needs extra security.

It is great for large dogs. I use the extra latch to hook it around my waist and walk my GS or tie her leash around a tree trunk when I have my hands full. It is long and sturdy. Absolutely recommend it.

We really like this leash for our 3 month old german shepherd puppy but our only complaint is that there's no where for a hand to hold the end. We end up holding the metal. We like that the orange leash is very visible at night and it's durable because it still has not ripped even though it's been gnawed on a ton.

I work at Animal Control, and this is the best leash I’ve ever used! It stands up against even the biggest dogs, and didn’t even tear when one dog tried to chew it in half! It’s flat design is better than the standard rope slip leads, and allows for quick muzzling in an emergency. I for sure won’t be buying any other leash from now on.

Had high hopes for this. We had the collar and I like the quality. Assumed the leash would be durable. It lasted a day dog bit right through like it was nothing. Thought it would be stronger.

So dangerous. The clasp has come off multiple times and lead my dog to run off on the road. He’s a young pup so he’s in training and this is absolutely ridiculous! You think you’d have better quality clasp control since the leash was double the price of regular leashes. Very upset about this as it continues to occur. Also only had the leash for a couple months and it’s faded/tearing. Not impressed AT ALL. Will be throwing this leash out to prevent from further scares.

After six months you wouldn't even know the leash was hunter orange at all. Just another leash to add to the pile. Nothing special.

I couldn’t figure this leash out. Went on YouTube and finally get it. Strange leash. The trigger clasp can open up if pulled the wrong way, and my dog is only 26 pounds.

While taking my dog he’s a 9 month old malinios about 60 pounds, on a hike the clip mechanism on your journeyman leash failed. I’ve had the leash only for about two weeks and use it daily for walking.

Its a great rugged leash, I especially love the hardware at the hand/loop end that makes it easy to attach to stationary objects

The leash is of course is an amazing carhartt product but with all the add clips and metal. It is uncomforable for the dog and dangerous if the dog gets excited at all. Swinging a metal leash with metal attachments = danger. Protect yourself.

We love the leash and also have the collar! They look great on my golden retriever. The leash has a reflective underside which is good for evening use. I also like the extra clip feature that this leash has. Great product.

I purchased this leash with great Hope's and high expectations especially coming from carhartt but was let down. About 3 days after I bought this leash and about 5 walks in the leash sheared in half not at any seams or joints but at a foot from the end of the leash. I have a 82lb German shepherd and he gave a good tug and it tore definitely not the kind of craftmanship I expected from carhartt.

Solid product, worth the price!

I purchased this lease along with several other pet accessories approx. one month ago and love it. I like the design of this leash along with the reflective stitching sewn in. It has held up to my german shepard who is a puppy and loves to chew everything, but still no problems with the leash. The only feature I wish there was more clarification on is the rugged slotted metal D-ring that maneuvers up and down leash for adjustable attachment options as well as the clip attached at the handle of the leash.

My dog. Is way to strong for this leash he almost ran away because it uncliped on its own. Not good for strong dogs

This leash is lightweight but strong and durable. I love the clip to attach to the collar, easy to use but doesn't get pushed and opened by accident

My dog chewed through this in record time. Was very disappointed as I really like the design of it.

Great durable leash. The push clip design makes it a lot easier when wearing gloves and just in general

Highly recommend it. Love how you can hook it to yourself and the dog at the same time plus having control of the dog by the handle which can be used as training! Used it on my cane corso pitbull mix and worked great!

Did not hold up my dog chewed thru it in a week just on walks lease is very thin
