Big game performance in a package that begs to hit the mountain. A fully adjustable stock and foregrip accommodate your shooting style to ensure exceptional accuracy and quad limbs fitted with a precision CNC-machined cam system delivers mind-blowing speeds up to 370 FPS. The Sniper is easily maneuverable thanks to the lightweight and durable CNC-machined rail with shoot-through riser and the narrow 18” axle-to-axle width (when cocked; 21” when relaxed). Features a 185 pound draw weight.
Included with the CenterPoint Sniper is a 4x32 mm scope, three 20" carbon bolts, quiver, and rope cocker.
Anti-dry fire and auto-safety trigger mechanisms prevent ill-intentioned shots while integrated string suppressors keep your shots quiet and vibration-free.
The Centerpoint Sniper 370 Whisper is an awesome crossbow out of the box but reaches another level with a few simple modifications. It’s a good idea to “shim” the sides of the rail to prevent shifting/horizontal play that will cause premature string wear and erratic arrow flight. I used a couple of layers of aluminum tape for shims. I sanded the rail with 2000 grit sandpaper to provide friction free string travel, timed the cams for consistent broadhead/field point point of impact, and added a Velcro strip on one side of the receiver tube to remove any play and eliminate sound from the stock. Perhaps the biggest improvement is a trigger job that will remove travel and poundage enhancing accuracy. The scope that comes with it is adequate but I heartily recommend a Horton/Hawk 2-7 with speed dial. This will enable you to shoot extremely tight groups out to 50/69 yards. Black Eagle arrows spine matched arrows from South Shore Archery make this set up deadly accurate. I have purchased three of these bows and Scheels was very easy to do business with and had the best price Shipping was free and fast. The model I received was the Whisper model that included string and limb silencers. I chronigraphed my 450 grain arrow at 350 FPS.
