Nothing other than weight.","text":"The manufacturer’s website and every review I’ve read says this rifle weighs 5.1 pounds. My Ranger weighs 4.3 pounds with the bolt and magazine. I weighed it on a postal scale that’s certified accurate to 1/10th of an ounce. With a Nixon Prostaff 2x-10x scope and rings it weighs 5.4 pounds. It feeds and ejects every type of round I’ve tried. It doesn’t group CCI Stingers well but will continually put CCI Velociraptors into 1/4” groups at 50 yards. I’ve had several 5-shot groups that looked like a single .22 caliber hole in the paper. The trigger is very crisp with no take up or over travel. I’ve had mine about a year now taken it out a few times. Action is sticky to say the least. easier to cycle ammo using your thumb on the back of the bolt vs using the bolt knob. Wants to tan rod the ammo into the ramp if you don’t. Also it’s not very accurate, compares more to a 10/22 then any of my 457’s. The stock is very flimsey and for a 800 gun the stock is pathetic to say the least. The action screws bottom out on in the gun before they touch the stock so the action and barrel will lift up and down. The screws need to be shortened. If you buy this plan on pillar bedding, glass bedding, shortening the screws and rod stiffening the forearm of the stock before testing it with anything else in the same price category. That’s my two cents.
