Finally the Winn grip textured Tennessee handle gives the ice angler the ultimate grip and sensitivity to feel every shake, kick, roll, and twitch of the jigging cadence as well as those subtle bites that oftentimes go unnoticed with a lesser rod quality. Very sensitive rod and very light in the hand for a 32"er. The fit and finish of this rod is excellent from the guides/wraps down to the grip on the handle. I do wish this rod had come with reel bands as its unfortunate to have to tape a reel to that nice grippy handle section. For me this is my go-to spoon rod. It fishes 1/8oz-1/4oz slender spoons and tingler style spoons perfectly. Up bites are easy to detect without a spring bobber. Great for slab raps and the smaller ripping raps. Can fish up to a size 3 jigging rap but the size 5's really bottom out the tip section. All in all great/versatile rod for fishing light lures to jumbo's and small/medium size walleyes. I can use this inside the shack or outside standing up without being uncomfortable which is a big plus.
Super sensitive rod to for light biting fish with enough back bone to still get a good hook set very impressed for a short rod how well it handles anything from gils to small northern and bass would recommend this rod to anyone looking for a new rod to add to the Arsenal
