Features a wide mouth top with an easy screw-on cap for easy filling and cleaning. The flip-top spout is ideal for sipping or pouring and the tough textured polyethylene exterior resists against dents scratches and fading. Hinged "bail" handle makes for comfortable transport.
I work for a fencing company and this cooler lives in 90°F+ temps for a good portion of the day. I wake at 5am and fill this with ice and water and it stays cold even when the sides are so hot that I can’t put my hands on them. I would’ve bought a white one if that option was available. This jug gets tossed around in the work truck, thrown on the ground, kicked with work boots and by the end of the day it’s filthy. It cleans up easily. The lid never leaks around the threads and the flip out spout works flawlessly. The handle is long and easy to grab with thick leather gloves on and I’m not, in the least, worried that I will snap it off. I can take big gulps of water and it delivers effortlessly. I am a 50-60 hour a week manual labor worker and I would recommend this water jug to anybody that needs a good quality, affordable water jug.
Purchased this primarily to have a ready supply of ice water handy while working on outdoor projects this past summer. Then discovered it works like a mini-cooler for canned drinks, too, keeping them cold for hours, no ice required. Plus, if you put baggies of sandwiches, fruit, or cut up fresh veggies on top of the soda cans you’ve got a picnic to-go!
As lifelong tent campers, we knew better than to leave food or drinks in the tent, but my sister forgot about 1 random candy bar. We took a hike and came back to find racoons had unzipped the tent and her duffle and run off with the snack. They also took our Coleman 1 gallon beverage cooler out for a spin, but were unable to open it. Our drink cooler was covered in muddy racoon paw prints, but still sealed and delightfully ice cold!
Keeps your beverage cool as well as your aesthetic
What can I say. Wow. This cooler does it all. It not only keeps your beverages cool, but it will instantly make you topic of discussion within all local little league dad circles who find themselves envious of the pure confidence you now exude.
I have used mine on the job and on vacation. Easy to use and easy to keep clean. I don’t need a $75.00 drink cooler, I can add ice when I need some. I gave them as gifts to fellow scout leaders and none were returned.
I use these all the time and they are great. Sometimes tilting the bottle causes some water to trickle out the hole that allows air to go through so it doesn't have an air lock. I only use these for sports or the beach though so having a little water get on me is never an issue. Its also only water...
My grandmother bought this for me to use when I was around third year of college. I kept it since then and until now it's my best travel companion because it really keeps my water cool even after a long ride. Even at rough bumps along travel, it keeps my water safe because of the rubber inside the cover that keeps it from spilling over. I have also dropped it several times, but still has not created cracks, proving how durable it is at rough times. Its durability through the years that I have use it, is incomparable to other plastic products in its range. I should say that it could never be replace with any other brand alternative of its product kind. There are lot of jug coolers in the market but they won't stay long like Coleman Jug Coolers.
We use this for days at the lake, kids sports games and practices, and even when the kids are hanging out in the yard playing. It holds enough water so the kids don't run out so quickly. We have 3 of these, one for each kid at our house!
Four hour rafting trip/four white rapids falls. Kept my water supply perfectly cold and was easily able to be tied down so it would be lost during the rapids. I used an older version of this for Cheer camps in HS and other all day activities. Love it and use it often.
