Too Shallow to Hold Ice
It was a nice idea, but the strainer is too shallow to hold the ice and it just washes off the side with the water requiring many more skims than a "deep pocket" skimmer.

Great with one change
Works greats. This is the go too scooper for people when we first drill holes. However, make sure you don't drop it!! It is mostly metal and will go straight to the bottom of the lake. I taped on some foam tubing to one of the handles so it will float. I have kids so I think about this kind of stuff more.
