The 7 speeds are smooth and the first gear is super low for hills. Comfy seat and a nice upright riding position sold us. I put an aluminum rack on back of mine and a basket on the wife's. Custom colors on both and I choose the step thru, even as a guy. 26\" were big enough for us. Smooth tires for quietness too. They are comfortable to ride. Good seat position, upright with not too much pressure on your arms and wrists. We found that the 7 speeds was enough for our riding. We encountered some small hills and were able to climb them without much effort. The weight of the bikes is not to heavy for lifting them onto our hitch carrier.
