Exchanged it twice - garbage.
I’ve owned a Garmin Forerunner 220, a 235, & a Fenix 5x Plus. All were delightful. They worked wonderfully, fit comfortably, and provided rather accurate tracking of my running, cycling, walking, hiking, and daily activity status.

Then, my wife thoughtfully purchased me the Fenix 6 Pro Solar. WOW! It looked stunning with the larger face and the solar power feature would help keep the watch powered when doing 24 hour races. However, the optical heart rate monitor only worked sporadically. Sometimes it’d work consistently for a few hours, sometimes a couple minutes. It made heart rate training or VO2 max tracking impossible. It also rendered the sleep tracking or other health stats useless.

So I did all the troubleshooting - to no avail.

Then I called Garmin and the rep was extremely affable. Together, we once again walked through the troubleshooting steps to ensure it wasn’t user error. After confirming this, I opted to have Garmin charge my credit card $400 to ship me a new watch. Upon receipt, I returned the original watch for a credit.

Unfortunately, the issues persisted with the new watch. I called Garmin again. Went through the exchange process again.

Another watch now… 3rd times a charm?

Nope. 3 strikes and you’re out.

Same issues. I called Garmin again. They agreed to issue a refund when I returned the watch. I did. And they did. The Garmin rep said, ‘I’m sorry you went through all this. I hope we can create a new watch that will work.’

I’m using the Fenix 5x Plus again. It’s great, but I’m bummed because I really wanted that watch. I guess my wife got out of giving me a birthday present, too, huh?

Pleasantly surprised
This is my first smartwatch very pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and all the functions that it has and capabilities. I like the ability to be able to share waypoints, routes from my handheld GPS to my watch.
I like the ability to be able to customize my mountain bike rides my runs my workouts.
The solar is nice because it does help the battery maintain a charge while you're out in the field. Is another good product from Garmin.

Awesome watch for the outdoors man
Great watch for everything fitness and out doors battery life is phenomenal, the only complaint I have is that it does t intergrate with Apple very well with messages and stuff, that could be on the Apple side though as they want you to purchase their watch

Fenix Garmin 6 solar
This is easily one of the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. The battery life is phenomenal. Love the look feel and features. I’m not sure why I waited so long to pull the trigger, upgraded from an Apple Watch and it’s a night and day difference.

Battery Life Excellent
I went from the Fénix 5X Sapphire to this 6X Pro Solar I noticed the difference right out the box of how much lighter the 6X is. A little adjustment for me because I did like the weight on the 5X but other than that the screen is larger another +
