First impressons
I have yet to use many of the functions this unit is capable of. Overall I am happy with the unit so far. I've used it on two hikes, each of about 2 miles in length. I have focused mostly on a couple of features, namely the trip computer and tracking. Both have worked well. The tracking feature was a requirement for purchase as I want to have the option to retrace my route as a safety measure. I have not used the waypoint feature, but anticipate using it as needed when navigating on the water. I have yet to explore the marine feature. There are a couple of features that I have yet to get a better handle on. I would prefer that the page scrolling feature moved a bit more slowly. I have discovered that the Birdseye function started out being a bit of a mystery as to how it works and how to work it. The support video has helped with the learning curve on that one.

Pretty awesome device!
I have only used it a few times for public land hunting and some private land for mapping trails to share with the landowner. The color display is nice and the gps and glonass connections are great! Still figuring out how to utilize this device best before heading to the mountains. Bought it during the black friday deals, too good of a deal to pass up! I would recommend this to friends.

Garmin 64st
I have just started using my Garmin 64st I 'am pleased with all the features it offers. The operation is similar to my other Garmin, but it is faster acquiring satellites and holding reception. Bass Pro offered the same product for $199 a twenty dollar savings.I would recommend this item for sportsman and outdoors man.
