The Girls' Columbia Horizon Ride Jacket will make winter something your little one can look forward to. This waterproof, insulated winter jacket can take on the coldest days while keeping her warm, dry, and ready for the next adventure. An interior security pocket is perfect for small things you don't want getting lost or stolen, while the reflective detail on the coat provides additional safety measures. The attached, adjustable storm hood can be pulled up for extra cold days on the playground to keep her having fun instead of shivering in the corner.
We have purchased this jacket twice for our daughters and have been satisfied with both. They are durable and warm, although the sleeves are quite long and we need to roll the cuff back. We got both of them on sale for about $60, so that makes this a good value when compared to other jackets of lesser quality (ahem ahem, Lands End, ahem)
I bought this jacket in the purple pattern for my 10-year-old daughter. She loves the color and the features of this coat, specifically that the hood fits well and keeps the cold wind out. We live in a northern climate and she walks a few blocks to school. A couple times this fall she said she was a bit TOO warm - a good problem to have. I'm sure it will be perfect when the real cold weather hits in January. We bought her a charcoal gray hat to match, which looks very nice with the purple pattern.
This is a great jacket; my daughter loves it and it has been great for the early cold weather in Minnesota this year. The arms seem to be a bit long for the size of the jacket, but still give it 5 stars because it doesn't interfere with mittens. It was a great price at Scheels, too!
