FRESH. NEW. INNOVATIVE. GROUNDBREAKING. Positive, right? That's what they said about Stephen when he first stepped on the court 10 years ago. Changing the game isn't easy and before long, haters came out of the woodwork. But that's what happens when you make people think about the game, play the game, and even dream about the game...differently. If that's ruining the game-then he'll just need to keep on doing it. I purchased the Christmas Day Curry 6s. I had the 2s and wore them a lot. I don’t play ball in mine but I have a bad ankle that hurts unless a shoe wraps the ankle. I had to pass in the other Curry’s after the 2s. Brought these and I’ve worn them several times.
Pros: looks good fits TTS. They look good and fit is great.
Cons: for me they aren’t comfortable and I’m limping by the end of the day because my ankle is killing me.
My son is 9 and this is his 3rd Curry shoe and now his favorite. He wore them for travel basketball and they worked great. No wear and tear and issues during the season on the hard court. Now season is over and he wears them playing outside with his friends and they are still holding up well, no wear on the traction like some adult shoe reviews have mentioned.
I bought these for my 10 yr old son for Basketball season and he loves them. I’ve saw some bad bad reviews about the tread separating but my son hasn’t had the issue, granted he’s only a 90lb 10 year old. The fit, finish and comfort are all top notch. The only thing he complains of is how hard they are to get on. Due to the design, they have a very narrow opening to slide your foot into.
My son absolutely loves these shoes. He comments on them every day— how cool, how comfortable, how there are all kinds of little secret messages from Steph. He regularly brushes them clean and keeps them carefully on a shelf when not in use (which is rarely). However, the glue along the toe has begun to come undone. This is devastating to him, and upsetting to me, considering the price and that we’ve only had them a month or two. It’s pretty unacceptable. We’ve seen Steph change out of these shoes a few times mid-game, and we joke that it’s because his glue has come undone, I wish these could be five star, because they are in so many ways.
I bought these for my son. The size runs a bit small than other curry model. But these are very comfortable, the insole feels very soft. The curry 6 has so many great color. I bought the petrol blue & my son loves it.
What the heck!! My husband brought these 2 DAYS AGO for our grandson, and the sole is falling apart!! These were brought to replace an old pair that were "down for the count". I'm currently Krazy Glue-ing the other loose areas of the sole to, hopefully, keep the shoe together. Very disappointed, and would not recommend. How can my grandson get his "ball on", and his shoes are falling apart on the court?!! Under Armour, you need to do better.
My son has had a difficult time finding comfortable basketball shoes. These fit him well and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the sole is peeling off toe already. He's been wearing them since January, this shouldn't happen with these shoes. We were planning on buying next size up, since these are so comfortable, but since not wearing well, doubtful. Shoes still look brand new, except for toe.
