A major factor for me. \nI like to wear athletic shorts. This lightweight knife works well with them. \nI like the little bit of flex in the handle. The knife feels even mkre secure. Its a solid built knife. The handle helps ot stay light weight and entry level affordable. \nSharp, lightweight. Magnacut. American made. Functions well.
