The large window and the dot, within a circle, is easy to find. You can pick which circle you want or if you want it to go to just the dot. I mounted this on a Kimber 2K11 Stainless Target. No problems with a direct mount. Everything you need for mounting is in the box. Battery life is out there too!\nIt doesn't come with a dust cover. I had read several positive reviews and articles in Gun Magazines. It is so well built and can handle whatever weather comes it’s way. The sight is easy to operate, but I suggest contacting a gunsmith for installation even though it appears to be easy to install. In my case, the Holsun Red Dot Sight made target aqusition much faster which makes it a must have for Concealed Carry or Home Defense. This is a nice upgrade from my previous 507c-gr as I like both the larger window and the ability to select different circle sizes. I prefer the smaller 20 MOA circle to the 32 MOA on my old 507c-gr.\n\nI have a number of 507 and 407 reflex sights and have never had a failure. That is unlike my old Sig reflex sights which had - a 50% failure rate.
