I bought a few of these a couple months back instead of spending a small fortune on another name brand and I’m glad I did because I absolutely love these cups. They are easy to hold wash well and keep my beverages cold for hours! Great investment!
Great tumbler. Bought mine about a year ago. Unfortunately I’ll need to replace it soon as I did not realize it was not dish washer safe. Initially I thought it was just thick coffee and tea stains. But after a few washes it’s pretty clear that it’s starting to rust. Guess the spray and cleaners are a little to rough on the metal. No big deal it’s my fault for not double checking.
Bought a couple of the 22oz tumblers for the kitchen and now none of our other cups get used. Coffee in the morning, cold drinks with lunch, beer with dinner everything stays the right temperature! Absolute love it. On the hunt for a few more colors to fill out the cupboard. Highly recommend having a few for friends when they come over or you'll get stuck with a regular cup which is a total deal breaker after using these for a while.
I will never purchase another water bottle, tumbler, or coffee thermos from anyone else. HydroFlask is truly the best on the market. Purchased this tumbler just so i can take coffee or tea to work and it keeps my coffee hot for hours!
My wife and I own a wine tumbler, 10oz, 16oz, 22 oz, 22oz bottles, 32oz bottles, beer coozie tumbler, etc. And plural of most of those options in multiple colors. Needless to say we love them. We previously lived in Hawaii where the humidity makes everything sweat and get warm super fast. These were our lifeline to cold beverages, preferably the adult kind! And when it came to hiking and just hydrating in general, nothing beats having cold water. Also have the coffee mug which is great for keeping our coffee hot longer in the morning!
I love hydroflasks and literally always have one with me. this was my most recent addition and it is my around the house cup. The 32 oz is a little hefty to carry so it is my travel/work cup. The tumbler is easy to clean and keeps ice water all day!
love the cup, wish had an option of different lids
I love my 22oz tumbler, but I'm not impressed with the lid...I came online hoping to find an alternate (leak proof) lid, to no avail...I DO love this product and I have 3 different cups already! I love the colors and the cute logo and they are GREAT for gifts. I do have a spill proof coffee mug that works great, I would just like a spill proof lid for my tumbler as well.
I have been using this tumbler to take water in the car with me and am amazed by how long it takes ice to melt in it. It's not unusual for the ice to last 7-8 hours (when I add cold water. I love the size, shape and feel of the tumbler and the color is great (a kind of teal, which I think has been discontinued - unfortunately). I own the 10 oz rocks cup, as well, and am trying to justify other Hydro Flask products because I like the look and feel so much.
I love the size of the cup. I love the quality of the cup. I like that the insulated top is BPA free. I can’t get the lid off without wedging my fingernails between the lid and the cup and hoping the drink doesn’t spill all over the place. Help? Any suggestions?
I bought 2 of them and unfortunatley these does not keep the coffee hot ( maybe like 1 hr or less ) and because the lid does not close the coffee splashes everywhere. I checked on line and there are no other lids that I can buy the coffee does not splash. I called the customer service couple of times 800-584-9376 PST at 8:30a and no one answers. I throw the box away also the original paper work. Very dissapointed.
I bought this product a month ago and fell in love with it. The quality is really good, and is an amazing product. I would definitely recommend this for everyone to buy if your looking for a good tumbler for your cold or hot drinks. The tumbler can stay hot for 6 hours and cold for 24. You should go buy yours today.
I bought this at the start of summer as a gift for myself. I have been using it nearly every day since! I have both the original tumbler lid and the straw lid. I love the standerd lid for both hot and cold drinks. The only downside is it is more spill prone then a coffee flask, but I have an easier time drinking hot coffee from this. Totally worth the few spills I have had to clean up. The straw lid has proven perfect for anything from cold coffee to smoothies to even just water, even though I normally always have my 40 oz by my side.
Overall this is a super great product and worth it totally.
I know, I know...it might sound crazy. But, having my HydroFlasks has changed how I live. Now I always have my regular bottle 40 oz HydroFlask for water, and the 22 oz tumbler for coffee, iced coffee, or just anything fun to drink! It made my life just more pleasurable, it’s marvelous to have a drink that is always hot or always cold. It is dependable, strong, and always loyal to you. When I want to buy another bottle or tumbler my husband said, “Okay, we need to add a wing onto the house just for the HydroFlasks.” He loves them too!! His nice cold beer that stays cold is tremendous!
I use this tumblr everyday. It gets so much use even my fiance can't help but drink out of it when I have it out! It keeps drinks cold, doesn't add a weird flavor, no condensation on the outside, and it's sturdy weight makes you have a firm grip on the cup.
Where it Needs Improvement The only downside to this tumblr is it's lid. I find myself almost always spilling some drink on myself due to how wide the opening of the lid is designed. It also unfortunately does not have a way to close the lid which means if I want to pack it away in a bag when I go for a walk, I can't when it has a drink in it.
i filled this cup to the rim w/ ice and then water and within two hours the ice had melted and the water was warm. i immediately returned and got my money back. had high expectations and was for sure let down.
Purchased two tumblers for my wife and I to use on our annual caribbean vacations. That way we don't pollute with 100 plastic cups over the course of a week, and our cold drinks stay cold. Only problem is that Hydro Flast doesn't offer a Lid/Straw combo for the 22oz Tumbler. They offer one for the 32oz Tumbler but not this one. Not sure why. Would be a bit piggy of us for us to order margaritas at the swim up bar and hand the bartender a couple 32oz Tumblers.
I had previously posted a rather scathing negative review of the Lava 22 oz tumbler based on how poorly it performed with iced drinks. I was advised to contact customer service to determine if satisfaction could be found. They promptly sent me a replacement tumbler (different color) and it has been performing more like advertised. I am much happier with this product. Thanks for the good service Hydro Flask!
I'm a middle school teacher. And this navy blue tumbler is a stable of my teaching now. I bought this cup to be used for my daily coffee. Until now I had used a 20 oz hydroflask sealable coffee flask. I vastly prefer this tumbler however. I prefer the 22 oz size overall, and the ability to use the amazingly designed straw (sold separately but I'd recommend it for iced coffee) for cold drinks as well. I use it for water, coffee, iced coffee, and beer mostly now. It keeps my beer cold for a dramatically long time, even without either lid being used. It keeps my coffee hot well into third period, and keeps my ice water iced for hours as I run errands after school. With the options of the two lids, or not using either of them, I find I can use it for any beverage, and the stainless steel easily cleans out to keep flavors from mixing between drinks. After I drink my coffee, I briefly rinse it with soapy water and drink water from it for the remainder of the day. I like it so much I'm investing in a 32 oz version as well soon. The price is more for the name brand than anything, and the design and color choices are great as always. But I have yet to find a similar product on the market that can be used in three distinct ways easily, for either hot or cold beverages.
I was given a tumbler as a gift yesterday and used it today at the Starbucks. I never had a tumbler so poorly behaved for user... Almost burned myself drinking out of it. Tried to open the lid to replace and after wrestling to open the lid with a very hot full of coffee for 5 minutes, I gave up. I was afraid to burned my hands. Due to the shallow lid design, the coffees were spilling out of the lid while I was trying to open the lid to avoid burning my mouth (left to choose between burning my mouth or hands).
I’ve had this hydro flask for a while now but the lid makes it impossible to drink my coffee. Not sure if the air hole isn’t large enough or what but I have burned myself multiple times when trying to take a sip. The coffee stays hot for a while but I do not recommend this if hot drinks are what it’ll be used for.
I love how big this tumbler is: perfect for bringing coffee to class. It is just bigger than a venti so I am highly caffeinated but its not too big. The one thing I would change is to be able to close the opening with a stopper. I was holding several things in my hands and my coffee spilled all over me. I wish I had a stopper so that I could put it in my backpack and know it wouldn't spill.
I've been using a 22 oz stainless steel tumbler and it says it wont retain odors, but coffee and tea is staining the inside. Even with constant cleaning I cant get rid of the color and the smell of coffee/teas and i used this for hot and cold beverages.
I just got one to carry my drink around campus and have it be able to go into my backpack without spillage. So far I love it I have two other hydros but this is my first tumbler... it’s a brand thing. The only downside so far is when I put the lid and straw on after filling her up it sprays out of the straw like a geyser.... suggestions on how to fix that would be welcome otherwise I love it!
I've had my tumbler about 4 months and I absolutely love it!! I'm a nurse and I take it to work with me every shift. I alternate between the lid it came with and the straw lid, I think both are great!! My family and I have 8 hydro flask between us and there are a couple different ones we will be getting in the near future.
I have been using this tumbler for about seven months now, and love it. I keep one in each of my cars for my daily coffee stop so I don't have to remember to bring one with me when I leave. I really like the fact that it is 22 ounces and not 20 ounces as most products of this type are. If I get a 20oz iced coffee, that two ounces of extra space allows for...ICE! Even the baristas who fill it at the coffee shops love this tumbler.
I cannot speak about the lid that comes with it, as it was replaced with the tumbler straw lid as soon as I got it. The included lid seems to get mixed reviews. I can highly recommend the straw lid, however, which is awesome other than being a little hard to clean internally.
