My daughter wanted for her birthday as "all the kids have them". I thought it would be like all the other numerous water bottles that she has and go by the wayside in a few days. But low and behold it has stood the test of time at least longer than the others. Keeps her cold drinks cold for at least 24 hours if not longer.
I bought a mint one, and as soon as I got it, I looked at it carefully because it was a gift for my dad. I found a little dent, so I returned it with a request for exchange. And they gave me a new one which did not have any problem. Thank you!
Worth the money if you want hot or cold to stay that way
Works as advertised--which means, wonderfully. Heavy duty, ice lasts forever, doesn't sweat, non-slip exterior. Big and heavy, but that's not a knock on it--it's an insulated 40oz container. Handle strap on top is thick and secure. I feel as though this will last for years to come, but note: not dishwasher safe.
I was introduced to Hydro Flask this summer while we were traveling in Hawaii. We thought we would try a 40 oz bottle to keep our water cold for our beach trips. We loved our bottle. Now that school has started, I need more hydro flasks. My kids fight over our bottle. Everyone wants cold ice water. Our old plastic water bottles are headed for the recycle bin. I'm on my way to Scheels to buy each of my kids their own bottle. I want my hydro flask back.
I had been needing to drink more water at work and decided it was worth investing in a bigger more durable bottle I could when out hunting and fishing. A lot of my family uses Klean Kanteen and while they work great they do sweat a lot and the finish comes off if not protected and I don't like water bottle sleeves. I stumbled across this brand while looking at the Scheels website. They claimed no sweating and they powder coat the exterior for durability. After a couple of weeks everyone who sees it says they're considering getting one. The thing is tough and doesn't sweat at all no matter the conditions. I recommend the 40oz so you can still get a lot of water with ice because the ice takes a looooong time to melt. I also recommend a wide mouth so getting ice in it is easier. I bought the flip cap for this as well but don't use it often since I primarily drink water from it. Keeps water cold for a long time. Doesn't sweat no matter ya go. No straws to clean out. If you are in need of the perfect water bottle this is it.
