The active noise canceling is excellent, the touch controls are intuitive, and being able to use one earbud while the other stays in the case is something many other products fail to do. Taking one out to auto-pause media is also a great feature. Honestly, the earbuds are fantastic.\n\n=== The Case === Meh, mostly a gimmick\nThe case feels more like a gimmick. The screen looks cool, but doesn’t add much real value. That wouldn’t bother me on its own, but unfortunately, the case seems to be the root of my issue.\n\n=== The Issue === No options, no real support\nMy Tour Pro 2s no longer turn off when placed in the case and the lid is closed. I believe the case software is failing to detect a closed lid. This feels like a simple software problem, yet JBL provides no way to troubleshoot, no customization, and no tools for users to manage or fix their own devices.\n\nWhen I contacted support, my only options were:\n\nPay $125 for a new case (with only a 90-day warranty)\n\nOr use a 30% discount to buy a whole new pair (still over $200)\n\nFor a $250 product that failed just outside of warranty, these options felt almost insulting.\n\nBottom line: Earbuds = excellent. Case/software = disappointing. JBL doesn’t offer meaningful repair options or user control, which makes this a frustrating purchase long-term.\n\nI really love JBL products—I also own the Flip 3 and Pulse 4. I was even considering buying the JBL Bar 800 for my home theater as a Christmas gift to myself. These sounded very good as far as playing music and such. My issue was with the fit. I tried all 3 sizes of earpieces, but I could not get them to stay in my ears to save my life. Just walking around and they would wiggle out. They need a supplementary rubber ring around them to better affix themselves to the ear. Several times I had to catch them as they fell out. The ANC also left alot to be desired. They do not even compare to the competitor's that I lost that I could go shooting with.
