Simplify your next ice fishing expedition with the K-Drill 8-inch Ice Auger. This ice auger is designed to conveniently attach to a cordless power drill to create a portable drilling system to efficiently drill ice fishing holes. The K-Drill is constructed with sturdy powder-coated aluminum and features a qunieu three-blade high-carbon steel shipper design. This auger works on both fresh ice and ice holes that have frozen over. The K-Drill ice auger requires ½ - inch drill. Best ice drill, very impressed paired with a Milwaukee fuel 18v with 5ah battery drilled about 40-50 holes with 8” of ice only used was than half a battery. Very happy with the purchase and I have a drill to used all year long
Ok at first it worked awesome no problems still working great but the problem was at the end of the season I drilled a couple holes but then I noticed my drill wasn’t working right so I brought it to acme to git it fixed the told me that my clutch was destroyed from using the k drill and it was the Milwaukee drill it came with so they did warranty the drill my point is it is hard on drills no matter what brand you get This year I bought the Milwaukee mud mixer much better because it doesn’t have an electric break so it just slows down instead of abruptly stopping it’s just like using the ion or the strike master so as long as you get a drill powerful enough you’ll love it
IF U EVR USE 1 OR HAVE BEEN AROUND SOME ONE WHO HAS 1 DRILL A FEW AND GO BUY IT I HAVE 2 NOW 1 FOR MY PORTABLES AND 1 JUST FOR THE WHEEL HOSE GOD BLESS THE GUY WHO INVENTED IT JUST AWESOME AND BY THE WAY SCHEELS IS THE LAST TRUE SPORTING GOODS STORE LEFT AWESOME JOB SCHEELS
Bought in February 2018 and used 2 months at end of season. Took getting used to, but love it. Paired with M18 Fuel. First trip it slipped out of chuck intermittently. Then figured it out. Start slower to let blades bite and get started. From there max out the speed and it flies. No slipping since. Drilled in 24" of ice no problem, but need to keep cleaning the hole out as you go. That is worth the trade-off of traditional auger when you ditch 25+ lbs and is much easier to pack. Would recommend to anybody getting new.
A friend and me each bought a K-Drill 8-inch auger and Milwauke M18 drill (Same everything). When I received mine, I noticed I had some discolor on the blades or teeth that cut through the ice. We went ice fishing this weekend together and each brought our drills. We noticed mine did not function the way his did. Same everything. Would it be possible to return at the store for a different K-Drill? I live in Green Bay and have a Scheels store in Appleton (30 miles away).
