This handy running belt is perfect for hitting the streets or the trails with your favorite running companion your pup. It comes equipped with two sliding leash clips for hands-free convenience a zippered pouch with a small portal for a poop bag or headphone access and a water bottle for hydration on the go. The chafe-free elastic stretches comfortably around your waist and the sliding clips work with any standard leash you may have at home.
I purchased this to replace a different running belt/leash combo that I had worn out. This had great potential, but the zipper immediately broke meaning it didn't keep my cell phone secure so I still had to have a pocket. It does tend to ride up, but this could be because my dog is very exuberant. I wish the water bottle was in the back, as I was constantly hitting it. This was more annoying than problematic because it's very secure. Eventually I just took the water bottle out. All in all, it's still better than holding a leash and maybe the zipper was just an anomaly, who knows.
I've had this for about six months, and it is a super comfortable, durable belt. It works great for running with my 80 pound lab. However, the zipper is cheap plastic and broke after about 2 months. Since there aren't many other options on the market, I just close it with safety pins now. Putting a YKK metal zipper on this would make this a great belt.
I purchased this belt solely to have water available for my sweet dog during our runs. I do not use the hands free clips. I have a collapsible water bowl that I put in the zip pocket and I give my pup water to keep her hydrated. So I can't speak on the hand free running clips. My waist is a 27 and I have trouble keeping this tight enough around my waist. I'm constantly tightening it and pulling it up during my run. I keep treats in the outside pocket. The pockets are big. I would say big enough for an iphone 7 or 8. Like I said it works for what I need.
