It has slightly over 500 pieces to it. It took me approximately 3 hours to complete the set. I really like the end product. The Minecraft design looks great when put together. It has a great building and many awesome details in the building. One of my favorite things about building it was seeing the cart path come together. I liked all the Minecraft characters that filled up the building also. The instructions were clear and precise, and they made it very easy to put the set together. You get to build several different types of things, from the building itself to the characters and a cart with gold in it.
