Made 20lbs. this year out of venison/pork. 10 lbs plain, and 10 lbs with cheese. Whole family loves them, had them eaten as soon as I took a package out of freezer. Next year hoping to make at least 60 lbs. all with cheese.
Made up 10 lbs for a family reunion and they were a great hit. Went too fast. Should have made 20 lbs. Used hickory in my smoker and couldn't be happier. Casing that come with the kit make the snack stick about hotdog size. I would like them smaller.
Wow great flavor. Best I have ever made. For the first time ever I used a water bath technique to finish sausage to correct temp. I used an old style turkey roaster to water bath. It sets casing and you wont lose any smoke flavor. Im hooked on this technique and this Original snack stick seasoning.
These have a kick really good pepper the pepper goes a way in a bit it doesn’t stay with you i make these with deer meat for son’s xmas party he said if theres any left someone all ways try’s to get leftovers before anyone else does
