It was my fault for not knowing there are 3 different sizes of aics mags. A simple tape job with some painters tape after rough sanding the front of the mag and some JB Weld as filler fixed everything. Maybe this fix isn't ideal for combat or competitions, but is fine for hunting. The added material was shaved down with a belt sander and a little bit of hand filing. Sure, it would be nice if Magpul extended their polymer molds and made a 3.850 CIP length AICS 30.06 magazine. The stock is a Cadex Tundra Strike using a 3.715 shim. This mag works well but there is some slight drag between the bolt and the top of the mag.
