I subtracted a star since the stock is such a PITA to install with the supplied Allen wrench give the product's comb drop/cheek riser angles. Also, you cannot remove the Mossberg 590's trigger group without first taking off the stock, yet another inconvenience. When you add up the Magpul SGA's plusses and minuses, I believe a 4-star rating is warranted. There’s just something about the grip angle that agrees with me. Installs quick, nice tight lockup. The Mossberg factory stock is too long for her and she was worried about her ability to come to my aid if needed. This SGA stock allows for the shorter length of pull we needed. \n\nPros - The fit, finish and feel of this stock are pleasing and the tolerances were perfect for mounting it. \n\nCons - The pocket to access the mounting bolt has tender, sharp edges so care is needed when tightening the big cap screw.
