The CLEARSHELL® scratch coating is applied to the front and back of the lenses to improve durability while the MauiGradient® Lenses have a darker coating at the top that gradually lights down the lens. Shop the Maui Jim Wiki Wiki Sunglasses at SCHEELS today!

  • Neutral Grey: Perfect for especially bright direct sunlight. Offers rich color and contrast along with the highest available light production unlike ordinary grey lenses that flatten light evenly across the spectrum.
  • HCL® Bronze: For everyday variable conditions from full sun to overcast. Provides excellent contrast. Great if you love a warm subtle bronze tint.
  • Maui Evolution®: When you need an everyday lens for your active life look to the lens that fuses the best properties of SuperThin glass and polycarbonate. Extremely lightweight. Scratch- and impact-resistant. Patented lens treatments bring the world's true colors to life. With the high-performance optics you need to keep up with your outdoor sports.
  • Proprietary MauiGradient® Lenses: MauiGradient® features a darker coating at the top that gradually gets lighter moving down the lens. So an appropriate amount of light is allowed to filter through certain areas while less in places where protection is paramount. This lens offers all the color boosting benefits of our PolarizedPlus2® technology while eradicating 99% of glare and blocking 100% of harmful UV rays.
  • PolarizedPlus2®: In every pair of Maui Jims you'll find the patented color-infused lens technology that wipes out 99.9% of glare 100% of harmful UV and boosts color via specially designed lens treatments. So your view is clearer with crisper contrast and amazing brilliance.
  • CLEARSHELL®: Scratch Coating: A proprietary silicone-based hard coat that protects your lenses. Glass is naturally scratch-resistant but MauiPure® Maui Evolution® and polycarbonate lenses perform better longer with the added durability of the optically correct CLEARSHELL®. Applied to front and back of the lens.

Older version was better
Second pair of Wiki Wiki's. I'm CERTAIN the older pair had a different kind of lens. It's thicker and must have been superthin glass rather than Maui Pure. Not a big fan of the Maui Pure vs the old glass ones. Got a scratch in the lens within weeks of buying.

Still love the frames. They are lightweight and comfortable. The single gradient does an excellent job of blocking sunlight at the top and keeping it brighter down low.

Something's Changed Lenses Scratch VERY EASILY
This is my 4th or 5th pair of Maui Jim's and my second pair of Wiki Wiki after I left the first pair at a kids soccer game. I had those for 2+ years, and they were great. I've had this pair for about a year and the lenses are junk. I'm not sure what changed, but these scratch very easily. The optics are still good, but these lenses are so soft that it doesn't take much at all to scratch them.

I take good care of my glasses, but that hasn't mattered with this pair. I have scratches on both lenses and I'm not even sure what they are from. I keep them in a case when I'm not wearing them, and I hardly ever use a rag to clean them. I like to clean with a little dish soap and warm water.

To say I'm disappointed with the quality of this pair is an understatement, the only reason they get 2 stars is because the optics are still very good.

Maui Gradient, not bi-gradient; great service
My second pair of MJ; first pair was Kawika. The usual Maui Jim lenses are clear, lightweight, with enhanced contrast. The Wiki Wikis, in particular are extremely light weight. One thing to note is that the lenses don't have bi-gradient mirror, although it still comes with a dark-to-light gradiation (aka Maui gradient). It's not necessarily a bad thing-- love it in fact-- just not what I initially expected. Anyways, what makes these sunglasses even more extra-ordinary is the service from both Maui Jim and their authorized retailer. I got these from American Sunglass; excellent service! I live outside the United States, and logistics is a bit complicated. American Sunglass goes for the extra mile to ensure I receive the item in prestine condition, regardless of the multiple courier transfer. Great sunglasses, great service.

Wiki Wikis are the Best
This is my 3rd pair of Wiki Wikis and 20th+ pair of Maui Jims. Quality is excellent, styles are the best around. Customer Service is great, I’ve had to get glasses that I’ve broken repaired, and it was so easy.

The lens coating isn’t bubbling like last time, but only time will tell. The last pair they charged me $10 and shipping to send the glasses back for repair and they still weren’t fixed. Why did I buy them again, you ask? Well because they look great on and haven’t been able to find another pair shaped quite like it.

Second gripe about these is for $300, I expect a quality case and some decent packaging (especially when they know people are gifting these at Christmas). The box they come in us super thin and the glasses have too much room to rattle around in the box. The glasses come in a cellophane sleeve (really?) inside a paper box. The case is collapsible this time. Eye roll. We’ll see how it holds up.

Fantastic Product
This is my first pair of Maui Jim’s. Fantastic sunglasses, great quality, not really meant for sporty activities but they look darn good! Thinking of buying another pair for running and active things outdoors.

The best! Style, functionality, comfort - all of it. I barely feel them on, so comfortable with Maui Jim quality. This is my 3th pair of MJ's, first pair purchased at Kaanapali on a vacation in 1992 on the beach of the Sheraton Resort. Biggest fan ever since! Mahalo!
