It seems very well built and I’m sure it will last me a very long time. My only criticism is the stuffing tubes. It only comes with three sizes. I like to do snack sticks and the smallest one included is not small enough. Also the largest tube is a bit small for summer sausage. The real problem is that the base of the stuffing tubes seems to be an uncommon size so I am having trouble finding aftermarket ones that will work on this stuffer. The 5lbs stuffer I have was not large enough to produce the amount of sausages I am currently making. First time using it Needed 2 people to do the stuffing. One to crank and the other to stuff and link. When you get down to the bottom of the stuffer, I notice mince passing through the plunger where the exit is to the stuffing tube. The plunger is not thick enough to keep pushing the mince through the stuffing tube. A lot of mince is still left in the stuffer. It didn’t even last 2 batches of brats before the part that the handle attaches to in order to turn the gears that move the stuffer down became lose and sheared off the gasket inside. It was insanely difficult to turn even while mounting it firmly to the bench. Sloppy design, poor material choice on the handle, and does not function as advertised. The plunger does not go all the way down to push the product through. When you hit the limit it starts to push meat past the o-ring. I wish this came with metal stuffer tubes or at the very least came with standard tube base size so I could order some. The smallest tube included is too big for sheep casing and Meat does not sell smaller ones. I have ordered 98 % of my processing equipment from \"Meat\". 2 % was a second hand vacuum sealer that will soon be replaced by, you guessed it, \"Meat\". Everything has exceeded my expectation from ordering to shipping, packaging, and using all their products. The stuffer was no exception. This thing is amazingly well designed, thought out and produced with heavy duty components. It works like a dream. Bolted to my work table it cranked out 12 lbs. of breakfast sausages in about 18 minutes with almost nothing left in bottom but about 3 ounces in tube. It's a breeze to clean and like all my \"Meat\" products, works flawlessly ! Don't hesitate at all doing business with this company.
