From the knee down I'd honestly have to say they are a fail. The straight fit narrows them at the ankle causing them to look like skinny jeans. Unfortunately, I am not a man who was blessed with skinny little bird legs, instead I have thick meaty legs, one could even say they're cankles, and need my britches to give me some room down there to move. With these pants, I have to put my socks on before my pants because I can't pull them up my calves high enough to pull my socks up all the way. I like the cargo type pockets on the legs for carrying things that I want to keep secure. No pickpocket will get into your pockets undetected. I take long road trips and I am more comfortable driving without a wallet in my hip pocket. These pants repel liquids pretty good and wear really well. I carry a concealed handgun, so I like the pockets designed to carry spare magazines and/or a knife with a pocket clip. One pair of canvas cargo pants, and one pair of Taclite pro ripstop cargo pants. The Taclite and canvas are identical except for the material they are made out of and one less pocket for the canvas pant. The ABR pros are like the next gen of the the other two styles. All three styles have backslash pockets, knee pad slots. And multiply other pockets. The Taclite and canvas are supposed to be regular fit. But the pairs I received were relaxed fit. They are really baggy which I don't like. The ABR pros fit great and are comfortable in any position. The canvas is heavier and will probably hold up better over time. But I have had the ABR pros the longest and use all these pants working on elevators. I pair has some small rips from snagging sharp metal. Some small holes from welding and grinding metal. The backslash pockets are great for holding tools while and materials while in tight areas or up on a ladder. Knees hold up well. I'm often kneeling in concrete pits or metal car tops. All three hold up well. I prefer the ABR pros due to fit and comfort.
