The cumulus tongue is uncomfortable and felt like it pressed down on my foot, so I went up to Nimbus. It’s a much better tongue for the feel of the feet in the shoe but has one flaw: it sticks up way too far onto your shin. It’s soft and stretchy and im sure I’ll get used to it. I’ve only run 10 or so miles in it so far, but it feels great for my feet, but makes my lower shin feel raw. I can deal with it. This shoe would get 5 stars if not for that. It’s well made. I got them in Cold Moss / Illuminate and the black laces really pop over the pale green of the shoes. The sizing feels a bit weird, though. I have several other pairs of ASICS wide running shoes that fit snugly, but these seemed to have too much space in the toe box. I’ll still wear them, but I don’t like the fit as much as my other ASICS.
