Each pair of Dyad 10s comes with two comfort zones. We call them “left foot” and “right foot.” Designed for runners with orthotics or unique feet, the Dyad 10 provides soft cushioning, a stable ride and a fit generous enough to keep all 10 of your toes—and everything connected to them—pain-free and protected. Stable Ride A wide platform with Dual Arch Pods provides stability underfoot without interfering with a neutral stride. New, Enhanced Fit Those with orthotics or flat and voluminous feet find comfort in the improved, spacious fit of the soft engineered mesh upper. Soft Cushioning BioMoGo DNA provides a soft feel that dynamically adapts to every step
I'm a disabled stroke survivor and wear an Ankle-Foot-Orthosis. the Dyad 10's in size 9 EE fit comfortably on my weak left foot in the leg brace. I buy a second pair in my regular size 8 for my unaffected side so my balance and gait are as even as possible. thank you Brooks for the reasonably priced well fitting Dyad 10. They are my very favorite shoe. I am saving to buy a backup 2 prs. Very hard to find at the running stores so I bought on the website.
Perfect Shoe for my Planter and Injured toe _need more color
Very nice shoe with plenty of toe room. Ortho fits in nicely and the cushion is very good when I remove the ortho. I am a nine reg but have a 10.5 EEE(4?)to relieve some little toe issues and planter F. Without these issues, I would have ordered a 9.5 reg. I was walking 5 miles each morning for years. Then zero because of foot pain. Now back to 3 miles because of these shoes. Needs more colors. Soon or you might lose me.
My own orthotics work well and this is a great walker -- when is Brooks going to upgrade the Dyad Walker the same way this Dyad has been upgraded? Main negatives are no choice of colors, and white sole edge, which gets and shows dirt very easily. Although I do like the dark gray, I would also like other color choices. FYI, I used to wear Addictions for many, many years because of my extremely flat feet but switched to Dyad last year after a physical therapist told me that I really do not have a pronation problem as I had previously thought, and since making the switch, I like the Dyads much better because, they, like the Addictions and the Beast are the only Brooks shoes with straight lasts, which again, I do need because of my flat feet.
The Dyad 10 is an incredible upgrade to the Dyad series of road shoes. The old version felt a little long and a little wide. The 10's fit perfect. The upgraded cushioning is a huge bonus as well. I have well over 300 miles in these shoes and have already started on my second pair. I hope they don't make any changes to this model for some time! The older I get, the more cushioning I want, while still having the shoe feel responsive. These work very well. Looking forward to many injury free miles in these shoes.
For medical reasons I am unable to run, but I am still very active and am thankful for that. I am also thankful to customers who leave reviews of substance and even more thankful to Brooks for listening and updating the Dyad. Years ago, finding the Dyad was a lifesaver for me, but over the last couple of years it had lost the level of cushion quality and fit consistency that I had become accustomed to. I was afraid that i'd have to revert to finding some alternative. As I saw other Brooks options, like the Glycerin and Adrenaline appearing to excel in their new iterations, I was bummed at the direction of the Dyad and if you're wearing the Dyad, then you have very specific needs for your feet that cannot be met by the other shoe offerings. Luckily, I usually order multiple pair and still had a new pair of an older version. This Dyad 10 has gone back to a wide toe box. The Dyad 9 4e really fit more like a 2E. The Dyad 10 4E is truly a 4E and maybe even fits like a 4E plus, which for me is fine, but beware when ordering. The cushion of this shoe is brought to a whole new level. It was what I remembered when I tried on a pair of Brooks for the first time many years ago. The new mesh upper design is very nice, it's almost like a version of the last shoe with an additional sleek protective layer. It's a great smoky grey, which is a great universal color and when you're wearing this shoe you typically don't have a lot of options. The only thing I'm not fond of is the white wall exterior sole, but i'd take it every day of the week if this shoe continues to be this comfortable, stable, and sleek looking. You could throw all other molds away as far as I'm concerned, this is a home run! Thank you to Brooks and to those valuable customer reviews.
I have routinely worn the Brooks Dyad series shoe for years now. I am an orthotic wearer with the Dyad one of the best shoes on the market for those that use prescription orthotics. The Dyad's let the orthotics do what they are supposed to do. Finally Brooks made the Dyad lighter and with a roomier toe box. The upper does not impinge upon your feet at all. This is a vast improvement Brooks! with a streamlined look and close to the foot feel. The men's and women's colors are very appealing. The Dyad 10 model is a clear favorite over previous versions.Rock on Brooks!!
I have been wearing my Brooks Dyad 8's for over 3 years and just completed my first half marathon with them. I had always said that after that 13.1 miles I would retire the shoes. I went to my local store and confidently asked for a pair of Brooks Dyad 9's I tried them on and instantly didn't like what I felt, had Brooks given up on us that needed the width the Dyad line was known for?? What was I going to do now? I tried on several other styles and brands but kept going back to my over worked Dyad 8's. After hundreds of miles and abuse they were still in good shape and felt better than anything else. Then it happened my friend at my local store told me that the Dyad 10's had come out. I asked him one simple question "Are they nice and wide?" I could hear the smile on his face over the phone as he assured me that the Dyad's were back. I felt like I could not get off work fast enough by the time I got to the store another person was trying out the 10's. I found the first person I could and asked for the 12.5 4E Dyad 10. After a few tense moments the salesperson brought them out. I put my inserts in slipped on the shoes and the biggest smile came over my face! My feet were home again. This was amazing somehow they felt better than my beloved 8's!! As she was checking me out I found out that they were down to 3 pairs left after less than a week on the shelf. As I drove home, now a lifelong Brooks runner, I began to realize why I was so happy with this find. It wasn't that I had ended a week's long search for my next pair of runners. Nor was it the fact that I was wearing the most comfortable pair of shoes that I had ever had on my feet. It was that Brooks listened to us, their fan base. And it didn't take a boycott or some long drawn out social media fight that would disenfranchise their base. No, this company decided to look at the reviews of a single line of products and make the changes that their customers wanted. Thank you Brooks!!!
So I have been waiting for Brooks to release the Dyad 10 for a long time now. I have owned the 10's a few days now but in my opinion they did a great job listening to all the constructive criticism of the 9's. I feel they went above and beyond to create a wider more comfortable toebox. I have very wide feet paired with a significantly thicker custom orthotic. For the first time in years my little toes were not crammed against the side of the shoe. I cannot speak to the weight of the shoe since I have the Sherman tank of orthotics but I would recommend the Dyad 10 to anyone who needs a neutral cushioned shoe with orthotics or just wide feet. Well done Brooks! Satisfied customer here.
