Narrow Toe Box
Brooks Ghost has been my go to shoe since the beginning but the Ghost 14s are the first ones that pinch my toes. Can’t wear these for over 5 miles or so.

Toe box changes
My first pair of Brooks was the Ghost 13 that I picked up when I began running again in 2020, loved the 13 and logged many miles in them. So when it was time to pickup a new pair I went for the Ghost 14’s without hesitation and have had mixed feelings about the redesign. I have picky feet and have generally had best luck with shoes with wider toe boxes which in the 13’s in a 2E width was perfect, plenty of room for my toes to spread out but in the 14’s I’ve noticed the toe box even in the 2E width appears to be much narrower than the 13’s when placed side by side. I will agree with other reviewers that the cushioning is better in the 14 but for me the changes to the toe box are not working out and I’ve sought out another pair of the 13’s which have worked so well for me. Hopefully the 15’s will bring back the wider toe box otherwise I’ll be looking for another shoe.

i started wearing the ghost form the 12 model, the 12 was great, 13 was good but 14 is poor. The insoles are disinigrating and the sock liner is about to give out in about a month. Bring back the Ghost 12s

Bring back Ghost 10, not just the title the QUALITY - LOST MY BUSINESS
My first pair of Brooks were the Ghost 10 they were the most comfortable shoes I had ever bought, and I bragged on Brooks to everyone, they use to put the highest quality softest cushion in there. I bought the 11s they were good, but the quality had gone down. I bought the 12s and the quality had gone down another notch, bought the 13's and they were probably even with the 11s, I just purchased the 14s a few days ago and got my money back tonight they have been the worst brooks I have ever bought. My calves and shins were in pain the last couple of days, the sole doesn't feel neutral it feels like it has an angle that makes your calf flex. With everything going up in price and quality going down. I will not be buying anymore Brooks until the quality goes back to ghost 10. The reason I started buying Brooks is because Nike's quality was terrible. Why would you cheap out or make changes to your best-selling shoe? Take pride in what you do and give customers quality, or you will lose customers and revenue.

Ghost Quality Control Needs Help
Have bought dozens of the Ghost, going back at least 15 years I would guess. The last 4 pairs I have purchased 3 returned for tearing out the heel. I tried switching socks and treated the last pair perfect, no running or working in them outside or inside. Tore out the exact same way. Come in Brooks, reinforce the heal material or I will never buy another pair. May try another style and see but switching to another brand is probably my only option. This is unfortunate as my foot problems are alleviated with the Ghost.

Good comfort but no so good design
I have been using brooks since my ankle surgery in 2012, and have purchased a couple of different versions of the ghost series. This version of ghost is comfortable on the feet, but there are a few things I wish they would correct:

1) The shoe laces on older versions are better. These flat shoe laces tend to loosen up and untie quickly, which does not supply to support I need for my ankle.
2)The bottoms of the shoes started coming off within 3 or so months of wearing them, which should not happen for a shoe that cost as much as these do.
3) The toe box is a little roomy. I tend to like a little bit tighter of a shoe, so that my ankle gets the support it needs, but I do understand that some people do prefer a toe box to have a little bit more space.

Overall the shoe is a decent shoe, I just wish the laces did not loosen so easily and that the shoe did not start to fall apart so quickly.

Mixed
I bought a pair from a foot health store. The shoes were the most comfortable I have ever had. Like another reviewer, 70 dollars was too much for a sneaker, but I forked over 160.00 for a pair and the toe sunk, cheap looking shoe laces, cheap looking appearance. I can live with the toes and the laces. Recycled material for 20 dollar shoes? Fine. Not for a premium pair, though.
Another brand of equal pricing is now my go to.

Crap
Very disappointed. I made the switch to Brooks from another brand for this school year. I am a PE teacher so I need a good pair of shoes. I wear these 5 days a week indoors. The sole pieces are already starting to peel (front and back). The lace holes are starting to break. Lastly, the perimeter of the toe box doesn't stay pushed out. The box sucks in. Very disappointed and sadden

Worn down heal Collar
I bought a pair of Brooks 14 from Amazon in late July, and run 3-5 miles daily but I've notice that the heal collar wears out fast than the sole or the cushion of the shoe. It started happing about a month ago. I could easily run with these shoe for two or more month but since the collar material is falling apart I can't wear the shoe anylonger. The shoe is great and very comfortable either running on the road or on a treadmill
