After purchasing my first Brooks Ghost many years ago, they have been my go-to shoe. But, I am VERY disappointed in the Ghost 17. I briskly walk 5 miles a day, 6 days a week. These shoes wore out after 240 miles compared to other Ghosts shoes where I usually get about 400-450 miles. I don't know why these are different. I have 3 brand new pairs of Ghost 17 sitting in my closet waiting for their turn. But, I may have to rethink my brand choice. If I pay $50-$60 for a pair of shoes, I would expect this. But, $150 pair of shoes should not wear out this quickly.
