A happy customer
I really like this shoes! This is my second pair of shoe from Brooks! It exceed my expectation. I bought this one because my knee was hurt from constant running. As soon as I wear this shoes, I could tell that it is well cushion. I haven't tried to make long run from this one yet because I'm still recovering. But I definitely will test this guy out as soon as I feel my knee can handle long run! Plus, I am very satisfied with Brooks customer support system!

Excellent shoes. Very comfortable. I bought the white ones which are hard to keep clean though.

Bought shoes for a marathon and started off pretty good, however once I got to some of the longer runs, I noticed that the thin piece of plastic (?) that is wrapped around the heal for stability began digging into my ankle bone, enough to put a hole in a brand new pair of socks. At this point, I'm just going to have to add some padding to that area of my foot but does seem like a design flaw. Also interesting that it only has happened on one foot.

Curved lateral toe box.
Been in Glycerins since the 17, with a couple pairs of Adrenalines and Ghosts as well, and the lateral side of the toe box in the 19 is now curved and rubs against my 4th and 5th toes even in the 2E sizing. Tried going up a size and that was too sloppy. I admit this curve does make the shoe more attractive to look at but who cares? Perusing your web site it seems like "the new improved fit" on all your models incorporates this lateral curved toe box. How about keeping one model on the old straight lateral toe box last? Everything else is as expected, outstanding.

So disappointed!!
Want heel blisters? Want blisters on the balls of your feet? Then look no further, the Glycerin 19 is for you. Extremely disappointed that I spent $150 on these and can’t use them now. I’ve been running for years and never had a blister on my heels or balls of my feet.

Bleeding Heels from Tight Seam
I had the same issue as the review titled "Heel Seam Issue". I bled so deeply into one of the shoes that much of the back and sides were covered in my blood. I've run in Brooks for years, but never had this issue. Excruciatingly uncomfortable after my heels became injured and raw. Plus, this seems to be something of a known issue, as the guy who sold them to me suggested I get a half-size bigger shoe (which I did). I'm a 10-1/2 and the shoes with the bleeding heel issue are 11s.

Never disappointed
I've been wearing Glycerin series since Glycerin 9 for running and working. This is the comfortable and cushioning shoes and very suitable for the beginner. However, I still wear for short/speed run so my feet did not get hurt. Brooks did a great job not to loose cushioning even though this shoes got lighter. I remembered Glycerin 9 and 10 series were 13oz but this pair is only 10.2 oz with plenty cushioning. Glycerin series never disappointed.

I use these exclusively for walking, 2-4 miles a day. I’m a bigger guy (6’0, 270) and have a history of ankle problems, to include surgeries. I have high arches and supinate, too. I started with the ASICS gel nimbus 23 and while they’re really comfortable I’ve worn the tread off faster than any shoe I’ve owned. I got these and after a month, including 3 10-mile days at Disney, the tread still looks new and the shoe itself is the most comfortable shoe I’ve felt. My ankle hurts less, my feet hurt less all thanks to these. I wear a 12 regular and ordered a 12.5 regular and they fit great. Will definitely be coming back for more.

I am a runner and a registered nurse!!! My feet are delighted!!!!
I absolutely love this shoe. I run four miles daily. My heals used to ache at night like a toothache. I no longer have that problem at all. I gave four stars because after about three months they began to lose the shape and stretch out a bit making for a loose fit that allows too much movement in my foot. I immediately purchased another pair as I feel that they are worth it! I did not throw them out. I now wear them for work. I am a registered nurse and stand eight to ten hours a day three days a week. My Glycerin 19’s have not let me down. My heals have not hurt me since I purchased them!!!! Thank u for this awesome shoe!!!!

Very cushy. Felt kinda clumpy and heavy. It dug into my heal. All and all not that bad of a shoe. It isn’t really meant for my run stride
