Carhartt never fails. I have been wearing the Carhartt canvas work dungaree for more than 17 years and will continue as long as they are being made. I have tried less expensive brands, but have always ended up disappointed with the quality and comfort. The Carhartt Canvas Work Dungaree is well worth the money.
Good comfortable pants for casual wear and work around the house and farm.
Very comfortable for spring summer and fall. I have four pairs, it seems the tan color are bigger than the dark brown color. The tan color I bought from a store are larger than the dark brown I ordered from the web site. Other than that they are great.
As always, "Carhartt products live up to their reputation !" Fit and quality are excellent. THE most wearable , comfortable, and Resilient mens clothing available. I've worn these dungarees for many years and they check all the boxes. Pocket count, location, and size. Sturdy yet comfortable. Thanks Carhartt for the quality to last through the ages!
Never disappointed with the fit, durability, and style.
I have worn Carhartt pants for over 15 years, different styles with different materials. They have always been comfortable for the job or tasks they were purchased for. "Look good, feel good, and function good!"
I have wide hips - has made finding pants that fit well a pain all of my life. Usually have success with Carhartt products. The Loose Original Fit dungarees I recently ordered seem a bit snug compared to other Carhartt Loose Original Fit products I have had for a few years. Not dissatisfied though
I have really mixed emotions about this purchase. I really like the jeans; have been wearing Carhartt products for years. They are durable, well designed and have multiple useful pockets and features. BUT, I have found real irregularities regarding the actual sizes versus the labeled size. This time i used their sizing comparison guide. I told them the sizes of two other name brands that I am very comfortable in. Based on that info they told me what size Carhartt jeans to buy. Their recommendation seemed to small (esp. in the waist) but I tried them - and sure enough, had to return three pairs because they were roughly two inched too small in the waist. I have also found significant variances in different pairs labeled the same size in stores. I like the pants, but they must be tried on to get a good fit no matter what the label says. And then there's the shrinkage in length when washed - and I don't dry them in a dryer! My experience has been consistently bad.
I bought 4 pair of these through my work’s uniform shop. The fit is perfect. My complaint and the reason I’m going to quit wearing them: wrinkles. They come out of the dryer wrinkled. I have to iron them before wearing. Usually by the end of the work day they are back to being wrinkled, looking like I slept in them all night. It’s too much of a chore to have to iron these pants before wearing. Very unhappy. Now that I spent my uniform allowance on these, the next pants I buy will be with my own money. But I have to find something else. I can’t deal with all of these wrinkles.
The fit was a little tighter than the same size in local store, so I am hoping for no shrinkage. Love the quality and the look. The navy is pair is going to stay pressed and starched as my "dress carhartts".
Pants are awesome, feel great and have plenty of pockets for daily activities around the job site. Just the size ran small so I usually wear a 34 but a 34 in these pants were more like a 30. So they do not fit at all...
I am very happy with these pants. They are extremely durable, and the lighter weight is perfect for me. I work a mix of residential and commercial job sites in Texas. These pants are comfortable, and allow me to move. I feel just as protected as the heavier version. I almost didn’t purchase based on a review about the light weight, but rest assured that it does not affect the durability expected from Carhartt.
Electrical contractor working in the southeast. 2018 – Bought 5 pairs. Fit great. 2020 – Bought 7 pairs. Completely different fit than the 2018’s. PANTS ARE IN FACT TIGHTER IN THE WAIST AND LONGER IN THE LEG. MFG. location has changed from Nicaragua to Mexico. Puzzled on the standard units of measure we all agreed to use centuries ago. *** However…I do love these pants because they are lightweight and durable. Hoping to resolve sizing issues
