If folks call you "Spark Plug", these are the pants for you
The B13 Canvas Work Dungarees are one of the few pants available that actually fit. For me, the waist measurements were fine aas listed at 44x30. These are Loose fit mid/light-weight pants with a very slight taper with a comfortable standard rise. Despite the other reviews about fit, these fit fine. So if you have large thighs and and want or need full seat coverage these are the pants for you.
I have owned six pairs of these so far, and use them instead of jeans for casual wear. More comfortable, neat-looking and functional than jeans. Since I wear them almost every day, eventually I literally wear them out. For whatever reason, the first place to wear out is the crotch (!).
6'4" 265lbs | Wrangler Jean Person | Runs small in the waist!
I'm 6'4" and at my winter weight of 265lbs. I ware wrangler 3X jeans with a 38 waist and a 34 inseam. The inseam is good, but the waist is to small. Going to try a 40 waist size. I'm in the Landscaping industry, so I'm crouching, kneeling, etc. a lot and the lose fit seems to fit the bill. I was looking for something lighter to ware in the summer than jeans, that are still pants, but fairly durable and don't cost $60+.
I purchased 2 pair of work dungarees from Carhartt direct, and 2 pair of work Carhartt dungarees from another vendor at the same time. My pant size has been 32 forever, whether the pants are Levi's, Bass, Izod, Dockers or the dress suits I have tailor made. These 4 pair of Carhartt pants do not fit properly - they are not close to size 32! Email me your response email@example.com.
Pant lengths not always consistent with dimensions on tag
Getting my husband two pairs of pants the correct size has been a challenge. He wears a 33 w 30 l. The first pair I ordered through Amazon. The pants were at least 32" in length. We measured them. So I had to send them back. I thought I'd try ordering directly from the company. The first pair were perfect. So I ordered another pair. Those, too, were at least 2" too long. So I will have to return them as well. My husband loves these pants. We just can't seem to get them in the actual size they claim them to be.
Over all these are a good fit, I was looking for a little something different been a loyal wearer of the washed duck (B11). Not fond of the front belt loops there is no second outside loop to secure the belt end like on B11's.
Love the pant overall, however the Carhartt “quality” I’ve come to know and love seems to be lacking from this pant, I’ve gone through two pairs in less than 3 months, thinking the first incident was a fluke I quickly ordered another pair as my local store was out.
However I was sadly proven wrong, I do not work a high end labor intensive job, I’m a cook but I’ve loved the Carhartt brand and everything it’s stood for since I was a child, it is pretty much all I wear.
The first incident I was knocked back in the grill and the rear pocket caught the grill handle and immediately tore all the way across, the second pair, I got slightly hung up on a piece of kitchen equipment started to move and the belt loop popped right off leaving a gapping hole.
My advice, be cautious, yes they look and feel like Carhartt, but I do not feel as though they are truly Carhartt, and yes before any question about 3rd party knock off, these were brought directly from Carhartt.
I've had two pairs of these. My first pair I bought when I was much heavier. I can say assuredly of both pairs that they are very comfortable, durable, and funtional. I used to buy Wrangler dungarees, but ever since I discovered Carhartt (from a movie of all places!), I will never go back! They only make top quality clothing and equipment. They have never disappointed me and these canvas dungarees are no exception. Thank you Carhartt for quality!
I have bought the same pants for 6 years now. I read off the numbers on the tag to customer service. When they get here they are the same number on the tag I read off to customer service. But they are too long by2 inches. They say they are 34/32 but they don’t fit like that. Not sure what has happened to there quality but it has went down hill
My son has a hard time buying any type of jean due to being 6'6" and weighing about 325 lbs. I was tired of patching his jeans and went on line and ordered 2 pair of Carhartts. They came, he tried them on and they both fit perfectly. Yay!! I am sure he will be ordering again.
