Nice jacket. It doesn’t look exactly like the picture on the website portrays it though, I was a bit disappointed with that. The picture on the website makes the jacket look a lot more shiny than it actually is.
I recommend getting a size smaller than normal. The jacket fits big. It is very comfortable and warm. I love how big the pockets are and I am in love with how you truly can get full swing in your arms. I have ripped multiple jackets from not being able to move your arms 100%
Jacket is great minus the zipper. The zipper is horrible as it is hard to zip and unzip, multiple attempts are needed to line everything up just right.. Would be a great jacket if the zipper issue would get fixed.
Nice jacket but when other reviews say its big ITS BIG
Jacket is BIG!!! I'm 5'11" and about 205 and it shallows me whole. Wish I'd bought a size smaller. However it does leave room for layers...jacket is long also for a xl I did not order a tall so I imagine the xlt would be down to my knees. I'm overall satisfied with the purchase. I will take the advice for others when they say it runs big!! The jacket is probably more suitable for a work environment but not just sitting out in the cold.
Love this jacket!!! The full swing is super awesome. I’m not one to write reviews but this jacket deserve 5 stars. Love all the pockets and how deep the front ones are. This is a great jacket for the ladies too! I’m 5’9 and men’s styles are always good in length for me (carhartt ladies sizing needs some work, we aren’t all short!!) However, this jacket definitely runs on the larger side but I think you can get away with your normal size if you like things on the bigger side. Overall best carhartt jacket I’ve ever had! And warm enough for northern MN!
I'll take another, just give me a different color please.
Great purchase and well worth every penny spent. Got the xl tall and it has not disappointed. I am able to move around without my arms getting restricted or the back of the coat lifting up in the middle of a project. Would highly recommend to anybody on the fence about purchasing one of these coats. The name says it all and continues to impress.v
Great Looking Coat that’s Tough, Well Thought Out, Made for on Site and Off
A great looking coat-Very well designed and well made! Pockets are well thought out. Love the deep outside pockets with zippers. The coat keeps me warm down into the 20s and if you throw on a vest or sweatshirt and layer you can keep warm down into the teens. The coat really breathes well too, so it’s easy to wear when the temp goes into the 40s. Carhartt does it best!
This is my new go-to coat for everyday wear. Truly a jacket to "wear on the job and out on the town". Has the fit and feel of a modern M-65 field jacket. Great mobility through the shoulders and elbows. The quilted lining makes the jacket warm, but not Arctic Extremes warm, which I prefer because it allows for layering underneath. Love the interior wrist cuffs, the slightly lowered hem tail in the back, the sturdy zips and snaps, and the corduroy collar that is soft on the neck. The exterior hand pockets are warm and secure. I'm glad the coat has hem cinches. I recommend Carhartt install a snap to secure the extra cinch cord so it does not hang out the bottom of the coat. Regarding size, I purchased a size Medium in this coat and I'm glad I did. Close-fitting without being restrictive. I typically wear size Medium in Carhartt coats and size large in Carhartt shirts. Highly recommend this coat.
Carhartt nailed it. Go to coat now and I don’t see that changing. Felt broken in and comfortable right away and was exactly the style and weight I was looking for. I’m a large in most brands and comfortable in the medium with this coat. Weather wise it’s stood up to 30s and stiff wind with nothing other than a tee under it. If your doing continuous heavy work, it will likely be a too warm but other than that it’s a fantastic choice. Nice features and high quality construction and feel.
Very disappointed for the money spent. I have bought many Carhartt jackets in the past and this one is the worst. It is not at all warm in anything but mild weather. I wish I could get my money back on this one. I'll be looking for a different brand in the future as it seems Carhartt no longer produces the quality they did in the past.
