Great hoodie all the way around. They definitely run a size bigger. I wear 2-3 shirts underneath and still is loose fitting . Only negative- cuffin around wrists starts to fray after a couple washes. Really disappointing considering you’ll have to buy a new one more often than you like. Fix that and this is a 5 star hoodie across the board. Would like to get more than 1 winter out of it. Other than that, it’s the best work hoodie I’ve ever had. Would love to see a Sherpa lined one also. I do not like the full zip style
I noticed one of my friends wearing this in another color and thought it was sweet. I ordered one for working outside for those cold winter mornings. Product was flawless, on warmer mornings I could open the front zipper and cool down but on the mornings where it's -40 outside you zip up the front and keep your neck warm. Paired this with a Carhartt sherpa lined jacket and you will stay toasty warm all winter long no matter the weather outside. Rain, sleet, snow, or even a blizzard, Carhartt has you covered.
Best hoodie I have ever owned, that's why i have them in every color carhartt makes!
Put it this way, Carhartt makes the Paxton's quarter zip in four colors, I own all four. Everything about this heavy weight hoodie is spot on! Comfort, freedom of movement, durability, appearance 10 out of 10. The rain defender coating will last longer than the 20 washes it claims to handle, and as long as its hung dry..it will not shrink. I love how carhartt offers these in Tall sizes. I wear a LG Tall, I'm 6'3 230lbs., only negative- not made in the good old U.S.A.
I buy my brother one of these every Christmas! He is a large equipment operator engineer. They are semi-rain repellent and have stood the test of time. He is now up to 5 of them due to their high quality. While some are more worn than others, they are still warm and not falling apart!
I got one of this hoodies for Christmas, and its one of the best hoodies i have ever had. Not only is it great to work and move around in it is also great to just wear everyday. The rain defender technology is one of the best things invented. Hands down one of the best heavyweight hoodie out there
I have purchased a couple of these from a local store and absolutely love them so I went with the "new" color here on Carhartts site. The sweatshirt does run large like they usually do but this one is not protected from rain at all like my other two. I wore this in a light rain and the sweatshirt was completely soaked where my others repelled water like a champ. Not sure what they changed but it shouldn't be considered part of the Rain Defender line.
Great sweatshirt for tough outside work. I paired this with my Carhartt vest and I was warm while working outside in below-freezing temperatures. It has withstood everything I could throw at it, wind, rain, snow, sleet. You will stay warm in this sweatshirt.
I just bought this sweatshirt and am already in love with it. It is thick, but not overly stiffening which makes it easy to move in and not ride up. The zipper is great as well for when I walk inside and need to cool down a bit from the heater. It is an awesome sweatshirt and I'll definitely be getting more.
By far best jacket I’ve ever owned. Had mine for 11 years now and with all that it’s been through, it has withstanded anything I could throw at it while still holding up and performing perfectly. Just bought my second and only reason being I lost the beer belly n wanted to go down a size. Thanks for makin them right!
Yea its a sweat shirt for 65 bucks but well worth it. Still need to convince the wife I need the other 3 colors. Spent 24 years with the USMC this is really something the military should have on the gear list especially for ECWS.
I ordered one for myself after seeing a friend wearing hers and I love it. It’s heavy duty, super warm, and has great quality. I wore it deer hunting in the midst of it snowing and the snow never soaked through.
Bought this for my husband to use while at work and he loves it. He says it keeps him warm and dry during the rain or snow. He likes the half zipper because when he gets to hot he can just unzip it and get some air. Hes had it over a year now and it is still holding up.
Great hoodie. I layer it with a midwieght longsleeve thermal or something like that and it keeps me warm on sub 32 days outside. Plus, the built in turtle neck zip up thing is awesome. Did I mention its rain proof? Told my wife to get me one in every color haha.
