I have this jacket constantly hanging by my door because it is perfect for on the go for any wet weather. I've taken it fishing and it kept me dry all day in a rain storm. I cannot recommend it enough.
Can't say enough great things about this product...
I work on Great Lakes ore boats and was VERY IMPRESSED with the jacket and pants. I received them when expected, which thankfully was the day before Mother's Day. On Mother's Day, the weather was in the 30's with high winds, rain, sleet and snow for the entire 8 hrs I was on deck. I'm happy to say that not only was I completely dry at the end of my shift, but I was never effected by the cold and wind!! Great product...highly recommend!
I really like how the sleeves are tapered. Best waterproof coat I have ever owned. Constant light rain last week and I was completely dry. Just wish they could restock size 2x in the bibs so I have full set.
Bought this coat about 2 months ago. I finally feel good about this review. The fit was loose but in a good way. Not baggy but not to tight either. It does great in rain and moderate to less severe inclement weather. Mind you it's not a winter jacket unless your layer. But I'd say its a great spring and fall jacket. My only complaint (which is subjective) is it would be great in the summer time to if it just breathed a little better. I'm not trying to tell you how to do your products but maybe add a few zippered vents. Otherwise I'd highly recommend this product.. or any product Carhartt makes. I own alot and find they are all well made, line of work specific, and just great durability.
These jackets live up to their name! We were caught in a downpour in Louisiana and had to walk quite a distance. We were kept dry from without and within. So glad we purchased these in time for the spring rains.
This jacket is great. Lots of attention to detail makes the jacket work. Its heavy weight might make you think it is warmer than it is, but its good as a spring jacket. So far its held up in the rain and wind very well. I expect it will last for many years.
I'm 5'10", 180lbs. got a large, it fits great. Already been in a few down pours and muddy conditions, has kept me warm and dry. I like how the cuffs ride over the back of the hand and built in extra inner cuff around the wrist.
It is a great jacket. My only complaint is the collar wont stay down so it always rubs on my neck. Tried taking the hood off but the collar still rubs on my neck. Otherwise a real nice, lightweight waterproof jacket that also does a great job keeping the wind off of you. Wore it for shoveling on a wet sleet and stayed warm and dry.
Great Jacket, tough construction and looks even better in person. I wasn't quite sure as to what size jacket to get though, after reading some reviews stating that the jacket sizes ran big and to size down. In the end I disregarded this suggestion and I am glad that I did. I'm approximately 6'4" 220 I decided on the XLT size and I'm glad that I did, it fits perfect. I would definitely porches it again.
Got just in time for the cold weather. In the cold rain and snow and sleet with a suitable undergarments the little jacket was wonderful. I would buy it again next time. It was the high quality I have come to expect from Carhartt.
Perfect jacket for the Pacific North West. It’s functional, looks great, and most importantly, keeps me dry. Also does a good job for warmth when wearing layers. Got over 8 inches of snow (which for the South Puget Sound isn’t that typical), and wore this over a Carhartt Crewneck Sweater and wasn’t cold. Also, I’m 6’6” and about 215 lbs, and the Large Tall was a perfect fit.
I love my Carhartt products. However, i was getting ready to return my Christmas gift due to fsulty sewing on the button side of my jscket. In my phoyo, i try to show how the stitching has sewn down about a 1/4" of that side unevenly. There's also a stain on the lower right side of the jacket. I haven't had a chance to wear it as i just went threw a below the knee amputation. So it's still in the same shape as i got it from ya's. Please contact me asap as I woule like to return or exchange this jacket asap.
Thank you so much. David

He loves the fit...the extra length in the 2XL is well worth it and makes it fit so much better. We’ve only had a few weeks so I can’t speak to durability but as with our other carhartt coats I’m sure it will last for years!
