So you can tell these are great quality boots. My only complaint is I can’t them on without literally pushing and pulling them up w every muscle I have. Am I the only one? They fit great once I’m able to get them on but holy hell are they hard to get one. Go bigger so you can get them On!
I’ve had these boots for 3 years. I am a forester by trade and wear these boots 3-4 days a week while in the woods cruising timber. Short break in period and very comfortable. I keep them oiled up and conditioned but but the seam on my left boot recently split. Given the miles I’ve logged on them, can’t say I’m surprised.
This is one awesome pair of boots.. Solid feel, very comfortable.. I have 3 1/2 acres of lawn I love caring for, but requires a lot of walking.. I wore these boots and was pleasantly surprised at how good my feet felt by days end..
Zipper in back of no value there, it should have been on side and zipped down further. Buckle ugly and of no value. Toe should have been narrower. Top should have beed smaller in circumference. Workmanship outstanding. Very comfortable. Great sole.
I got my first pair of boots after my back surgery because it is difficult for me to tie laces now. These boots are easy on and off. This is the second pair because the first ones fit well and lasted for five years
These are ugly, but they definitely do the job and more. 2nd pair after 2 years and put hard work in. I would like the sole to be able to be retooled because the boot construction is up to the task for more work would be my main complaint. No leaks whatsoever, best pull on/wellington imo.
Bought these boots for my son, who is both hard on boots and hard to please. He is put them on and within a couple of break in hours, was extremely pleased with how they felt on his feet. The next day he accidently stepped in ankle deep water and immediate expected a wet foot but was very pleasantly surprised to stay bone dry. These are great boots, like all the other Danner boots I have purchased.
Great boot, once you find the fit. I'm usually a dead-on size 12 medium. When I ordered those, they were much too tight. Danner rep suggested a 12EE instead. Seems pretty good now. Might have the forefoot stretched as it's still a bit tight, but I feel like a 13 would be too big. Otherwise, and awesome boot!
This is my second pair. I still wear my first pair. A little over two years with daily wear and they’re still waterproof. I wear them for work now and bought the new pair. On trips, I wear them instead of tennis shoes for walking. They’re the best, and most comfortable boots I’ve owned. They’re a little tough to get on at first, but they soon feel like house slippers.
Really comfortable boot that will last you many years, however, I did lose water resistance in mine where the zipper meets the stitching of heel. Other than this problem they have been a great boot for all my needs and I will definitely be getting another pair soon.
The fit and finish is great. However, the boots click like a child's clacker each step you take. I bought one pair a year ago and they started clicking. I tried to send them back but they were past the warranty period. I liked the boots so much that I decided to buy another pair but they did the same thing right out of the box so I returned them. I own several different pair of Danner boots. All have been great with exception to these. Hope they can figure out what is going on with the shank or whatever pops inside the boots.
