Was looking for a good boot for on the factory floor, that was breathable. Used to wear Rockport works waterproof boots that would leave my feet very sweaty. These don’t do that, are extremely breathable and are very comfortable. These have a smaller toe cap than the rockport works boots but after a day or two of cruising around in these I got used to it and it doesn’t bother me. Ordered a .5 size bigger, but these boots definitely rock!
I like the boots, they were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I would have given them 5 stars, but was disappointed that they were made in Vietnam a communist country that oppresses it’s on people.
I work in a printshop with very slick polished concrete floors, and this boots has far superior grip compared to the other brand boots I tried. Fits very well and is comfortable even after standing for 12 hours shifts. I also like the light weight. Seems well constructed. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating is the top of the boot can dig in at times when bending down to access machinery parts, etc. but that may be something that improves as the boot breaks in a little more.
I am vary satisfied with the boot. The only thing was I needed a half size larger from a previous bought pair of hiking boots. Thought the safety toe might have had something to do with being to tight. But the free shipping worked out well .
They're pleasantly light and breathable, and provide sufficient ankle protection (from being bumped, but not rolling) but the underfoot feel is so-so. Very flat and quite hard. I put Superfeet in instead of the factory insoles, which helped, so I'm keeping them.
I really enjoy how light and breathable they are. They had protection in the correct places. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because the soles are a little hard for my liking, but that could easily just be me. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
I have a pair of trackwelts in the same size. I had and am still having such a good experience with them that I bought these sight unseen for warmer weather. When they arrived they were immediately comfortable and I’ve been absolutely blown away with how dry my feet stay in hot weather. I am a carpenter by trade so I’m on my feet all day. I also used them to do some trail work. Ie, take my chainsaw on a 10 mile hike and log out the trail. It was a hot sunny day and I came away without sweaty socks. Very impressed. As far as the negatives go. Compared to my trackwelts the toe cap is much less durable. I scuffed a hole in one within a week of having them. My other boots have 5 months of use and still have no signs of that wear. Also the insole in the trackwelts are much more comfortable for me. I may end up putting some superfeet or something in these. All in all a very good warm weather work boot!
