This is my 5th pair of danner boots and keep true to their fit. Broke in quick. Fit very good and are light weight. Toe cap protector is good quality and will keep the nose of the boot from wearing out prematurely. Very comfortable.
Short and sweet, I Love Them! I work at Coors in Golden, CO, I'm in and around water all day for 12 hour shifts, I walk on average 20,000+ steps a day and after the first three days I can't complain. I use Oboz inserts and Outdoor Research leg gaitors, check out REI.
I have worn these boots a few weeks now... so far I love them! There are a few other models I would like to try as well, but they are not offered in 14w. I would love to see Danner carry more 14w boots!
Great boot, I have no zipper issues, as read from other reviewers. The left boot seems smaller than the right, but perhaps it is my foot’s fault an not the boot’s. My shoelaces are way to short. Have to order some. The ones that are on the boot can only lace up 75% So one star off for that.
Unfortunately I have to say I’m not pleased. I have wore Danners for most of my 20 year EMS career. I loved the EMS 2 boots, but both of the pairs of the new style replacing them I will be sending back because of the lack of width of the boot.
Been wearing them for several months now and they are feeling good. My feet don't get achy after 10 hours on concrete. They are warm and dry. But welding spatter goes through them like a hot knife through butter, OOPS.
So far so good. The boots are comfortable to wear for 12+ hours and the traction is helpful when working on a slope. Good ankle support and option for quick zip/unzip. Would probably look for again once this pair retires
Ive had these boots for a few months now, they are really comfortable and lightweight. The only issue Ive had with them so far is that they get super hot and at the end of the day I feel like I just walked through a creek. I cant really wear them anymore. I also have the Vicious boots as well and my feet have no problems with my feet getting to hot when I wear those. As a Supervisor i spend a small portion of my time in the office and the rest is out on the production floor so to me it was extremely odd that when I wear the spring fields my feet overheat.
These are good boots. I prefer the non-side zipper version but they are no longer available. The inside grinds on my boney ankles so I have to skip the bottom speed lace loop to eliminate the issue. The non-side zipper boots did not have this issue. These boots are way better than their replacement. I purchased an extra pair to save for three years to cover me until I retire.
