I found these in a small footwear shop and invested in a pair. The next day it was a bit damp and cool for a mid July day. These socks exceeded expectations and preformed on the mountain. The fit and comfort was tremendous. The next day I found another second pair in an outdoor store and just used these socks the remainder of our trip through Washington and Oregon.
