Used twice and love how much lighter than full wading boots and rinsing a breeze to get sand out. Used FT stockingfoot pants waders it was snug fit with some excess neoprene gathers but still comfortable. Second way I wore these with FT neoprene socks that are much thinner and tighter fit on the foot and was perfect with some looseness in the boot. I’m a 10 bought an 11 boot both were bone dry experiences wearing cotton socks. Zipper so easy to use but does have one issue.\n\nI gave 4 stars because when using wader pants the zipper opened and I remedied by using thin Velcro wrapping around the entire ankle at the top. Using socks you can fold down over top of boot so no unzipping. I guess the strap they provide is to gather up material if loose on top but I think it would create more tension to release zipper. To inshore fish these boots serve my purpose being waterproof and lighter but sturdy boot foot area to strap on cleats when standing on rock jetty or summer fishing in the surf wearing shorts. Hope these last a few seasons knowing neoprene has limits but probably buy again. Bought these for easy on wading boots as well as a pair of waders from Frogg Toggs. Waders lasted 3 trips with out leaking and the boots the same.
