After wearing them for months on end, 10hrs a day, and putting them into the back of the closet for a year or so, they are still so comfortable. They look pretty worn so I looked at buying another brand for a more casual look while still being work (highly recommend, $200+) boots and they are terrible. I seriously regret not buying another pair of wingshooters. I will be buying another pair soon. They are so incredibly comfortable for long days on your feet. They arrived in time for me to be able to get to wear them to work tonight (I work 2nd shift 6pm-4:30am.) So I really haven’t gotten a chance to really “wear” them yet but I reckon in the morning I’ll find out how comfortable they are. I also know you can’t really leave a proper review until you’ve had a chance to break them in, which can take weeks. I’ll update this review then. And have always looked the look of boots. But have never found a pair I liked the way they look and also the way the fit. Since I have wide feet and flat feet it’s hard to find some that feel good but also the front of the toe box will bend and it not feel like it’s going to cut you or hurt you. Years ago my work gave me some cheapy Georgia boots. I wore them for 2 hours and HATED them. Since then I never wore boots. Just wore hiking waterproof running shoes like Altras or ON clouds. Long story short 2 weeks ago I went into my local redwing store and told him my story. He pulled these out. And as soon as I put them on I fell I love. I loved the look of them. The color. The feel. Just everything. I got the wide version and zero issues. I literally walked out the store with them they were so comfortable. I was scared I was going to have to break them in. 2 days later went to DC for Memorial Day with my wife and wore these for the whole weekend to walk around and try to “break” them in incase so I wouldn’t hurt when I went back to work. And they didn’t even need it. These things are amazing. Absolutely love them and 100% recommend.
