I got these boots on Saturday night took them for a walk to the local bar and then the grocery. The next day I took them on a 16 mile test run with close to 4000 ft in elevation gain. I wouldn't think of doing that in new boots other than Keens. I have one small blister, but they were definitely the right choice. They kept the feet warm in temps below freezing, tread was so good I never pulled out the Yaktraks, and, when I had no choice but to walk through the shallow creek and sections of the trail overtaken by snow melt, they didn't disappoint. There was a last unexpected creek crossing not on the map (likely dry most of the year).
